This morning Sophie spoke on 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 on how we can find renewed hope in the work of the Holy Spirit to convict us of His word and our sin and sustain us in every season as we eagerly await the joy of Christ’s return.

• That God's Holy Spirit would fill us afresh with conviction

• That He would sustain and renew us

This morning Alan spoke on 1 Thessalonians 2:13 and how the verse celebrates the way new believers received the gospel as being a word directly from God.

• confidence in God, in our status before him, in his word and the power of the Holy Spirit

• Joy in the midst of storms

• Children as they go back to school

This morning Sally Williams spoke from 1 Thessalonians 2:9-12 This morning Sally spoke on the role of a Pastor, and how her life was saved thanks to a Pastor named Russell.

• Power as they preach the Good News

• Patience and self control to love the congregation like a good father

• Perseverance to keep on urging the congregation to live a life that pleases God
