  • How Evil Leaders Use Power to Terrorize Victims
Why is it that leaders can be guilty of injustice and oppression for years, only to be finally removed from office or publicly disgraced when a sexual scandal breaks? Why do men like Bill Gothard or Joe Biden spend years openly using their authority and forcing women and children to endure their violations of intimacy through unwanted touches or closeness, and it is accepted? How do we solve these types of problems? How can we protect not just our sons and daughters, but how can we change our culture so such evil is not permitted? In this episode, we want to ask what God's word says about authority and oppression. We know that God says all authorities are appointed by Him, but does that mean we just have to put up with evil leaders? God forbid! But often, as Christians, we forget that God has appointed multiple authorities - not just the church and home, but even other officers in the same government or other levels of government. God cares greatly about oppression, but at times, it seems as if the church does not. We need to change that. Please join us as we discuss this important topic. • Husbands: Shepherds of the Family | Loving Leadership
This sermon instructs husbands to emulate Christ's servant leadership by acting as shepherds to their families, grounding the role in Ephesians 5 and Psalm 23. The central message emphasizes that biblical headship is not about dominance but about sacrificial care, provision, and protection, mirroring how Christ loves and sanctifies the church. Key themes include the necessity of physical presence, emotional engagement, and spiritual guidance, urging men to provide both material needs and spiritual nourishment through consistent love and stability. The tone is pastoral and convicting, challenging men to move beyond passive roles to actively pilot their households along paths of righteousness. Ultimately, the sermon calls husbands to view their leadership as a high responsibility to provide, pilot, and protect their wives.

  • Bringing the Bride to the Son
Abraham's faithful servant found the woman God had appointed to be Isaac's wife in the previous passage, Genesis 24:1-27. His assignment is not complete, however, until he secures the agreement of her family and brings her all the way to her new home in Genesis 24:28-67. There is no doubt that the servant spent much of the return trip extolling the virtues of Isaac to Rebekah, his bride-to-be. The story reaches a climax when Isaac and Rebekah's eyes meet in verses 63 and 64, seeing one another for the first time. In a similar way, the Holy Spirit is our guide through life, helping us understand more about our Lord and Savior, and bringing us all the way to our forever home with our Beloved. We "will see Him just as He is" (1 John 3:2) and be transformed into His likeness. What a glorious day!
