  • Fighting for Holiness
The sermon explores the necessity of practical holiness and the persistent effort required to eradicate sin from one's life, home, and church. Drawing from the narrative in Judges 20, the text illustrates how the tribe of Israel fought multiple battles against the tribe of Benjamin to remove evil, highlighting that spiritual victory is often not instantaneous and may involve repeated failures. The message emphasizes that believers must recognize the need for holiness, be willing to confront sin rather than ignore it, and understand that defeat is part of the process of success. It encourages the audience to remain wholehearted in their pursuit of God, finding strength in the Word and the assurance that God ultimately grants victory. The tone is pastoral and exhortative, urging believers to never give up in the fight for spiritual purity.

  • 26-10-11 Meet Jesus Christ
Meet Jesus Christ Faith Debate: Sunday, October 11th, 2026 (10/18/26 on 930 WFMD in Frederick, Maryland) A man says he met a woman named Christina in 2023 while he was sitting on a front porch swing. She walked across the lawn carrying an iPad, like many salespeople do. The young lady sat in front of this man and his wife and began speaking about history, the Bible, and the church. Then she added that she knew the man was born with water on the brain, which is true. This seemed very supernatural, and so tears filled the couple's eyes as they contemplated what they were experiencing. This angelic-type presence didn't say how she knew the medical information; she simply looked up at the sky and smiled, telling the man three times, "You don't get it". Then she turned, and using her iPad brought a cool breeze from the north that moved through the treetops in a rotation specifically around the house and its street. Finally, she looked the man in the eyes and told him that she was sent by God with a message: "You've been kept alive to protect innocent people from evil". What should a Christian think about such a happening? Some quickly dismiss it as a lie. But if the story is real, and not a fabrication, what then? The panel continues to consider all of this in part 4 of a 4 of a unique series. Find The Faith Debate at wfmd.com, ChristianPodcastCommunity.org, & podcast platforms like SermonAudio & Odysee. • Submit to Higher Powers
This sermon explores the biblical principle of submitting to higher authorities by examining the distinct yet overlapping spheres of government, church, and home. It argues that believers must establish their personal standards and convictions based on Scripture rather than societal norms or fear of man, recognizing that God has ordained specific roles within each institution. The teaching highlights scenarios where earthly laws conflict with divine truth, such as in matters of marriage, child-rearing, or religious expression, urging Christians to appeal to the ultimate authority of God. By citing examples like Paul's appeal to Caesar and the Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego narrative, the message emphasizes standing firm on biblical truth while maintaining a posture of respectful submission to legitimate earthly governance. The tone is instructional and pastoral, encouraging the audience to discern where their obligations lie and to live with confidence in God's sovereignty over all earthly powers.

  • Adorning the Doctrine of God: The Godly Woman | #2
This sermon explores the practical application of Christian living for women, specifically addressing the instructions in Titus 2:3-5. It argues that true beauty is found in Jesus Christ, who became ugly to save those who are ugly in sin, and that believers are called to adorn the doctrine of God through their conduct. The message outlines three key areas for godly women: avoiding slander and self-control, cultivating deep love for husbands and children, and maintaining a chaste, discreet, and home-centered lifestyle. By embracing these virtues, women reflect the transformative power of grace and provide a beautiful witness to a world that often mocks such values. The sermon concludes with a call to faithfulness in one's current state and an invitation for the unconverted to find true beauty in the Savior.
