Carol Kline has devoted her career to teaching, writing, and speaking about consciousness and personal growth. She is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and her books include Happy for No Reason, Love for No Reason, and five books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

Carol Kline has been an author, editor, and ghostwriter for more than 25 years, during which time, she has co-authored more than a dozen books with some of the world’s top transformational leaders—including Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen of Chicken Soup for the Soul fame, and also Marci Shimoff, Lisa Nichols, and Gay Hendricks. Five of those books went on to become New York Times bestsellers.

Her newest two books, Conscious Luck: Eight Secrets to Intentionally Change Your Fortune, co-authored with Gay Hendricks, and The Conscious Luck Workbook: Applying the Eight Secrets to Intentionally Change Your Fortune, were published in 2020.

Inspired by her experience writing Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul in 1997, she became deeply involved in animal rescue work and helped run and build an animal shelter called Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation in Fairfield, IA.

Currently, she lives in Ojai, California with her husband, Larry, and is at work on a number of writing, business, and service projects.
