Our pursuit of happiness often leads us to take shortcuts, make mistakes, carry regrets and experience pain when decisions are made on the basis of what we want, rather than what God wants for us. The sin of placing our wants for ourselves over the wants God has for us will lead to a life that God has NOT intended for us to live. God calls you to live life today as He designed it. God knows you better than you know yourself. He sees the whole puzzle while you only see your piece. Trust God’s call today to be holy and live the life He intends you to live. The first step in living that life is to begin taking your sin seriously.

The word 'Holy' in not an unfamiliar word. Believers and Non-Believers know at the minimum that it is descriptor for God. Most will agree that God is holy however, God's desire for every believer is to be holy as well. This process of becoming holy becomes our life pursuit from the moment we become a Christian until the moment we meet Jesus face to face in eternity. We are not alone in this pursuit. Refocus your faith from getting what you "need" from Christ to giving Him thanks for what He has done! The majority of us cannot hear anything but ourselves and we cannot hear anything God says. Gratitude brings you to a place where you can hear the call of God and be profoundly changed.
