We live in a world that is in short supply of hope, especially for Christians. It is easy to sit back and bemoan the lack of support form our government, the nominal commitment of our culture to the word of God and it's relevance for daily living. Jesus reminds us in today's passage, that we do have a reason for hope. We must lift our eyes from our surroundings and focus on the hope He has made possible. As we think about our scripture passage [John 14:1-11], Jesus is proclaiming “He is the only way” to God/Heaven/Eternal Life. Many consider this to be “politically incorrect”, “intolerant” and “narrow”. Think about it though, His way is wide enough to accommodate ANYONE who decides to take it!
