        • Wednesday's Rant: Four elections, thousands of dollars — but how many voters?

Campaign 2020 is well under way -- and apparently well funded.

          • Candidates are everywhere -- and more of them are popping up each day.
          • Local parties are hosting event after event -- and are getting strong crowds.
          • There's even a free public demonstration on using the new voting machines set.
          • But the hardest part will be getting voters to the precincts or to advance voting spots four times this year.

            Who’s in?

            • Tuesday's Rant: Guns, politics and the 2020 elections.

From what we know so far, the Armuchee Second Amendment Sanctuary rally will draw politicians seeking your vote in the May and November elections. Several have been asked to speak. One in particular is wrapping herself in the Second Amendment in a bid to be your next representative in Congress.

In some way, shape or form, guns and politics will be part of the local 2020 elections.

Given the headlines of the past few days, we’re just not sure exactly what we’ll hear from those seeking office as we move deeper into the election year. But we’re very anxious to see what it means when the votes are counted.
