I grew up thinking that worrying about someone and something makes me a responsible human being. As I worried, I thought I'm doing the right thing and nothing can go wrong because I worry! - I'm actively doing something to gain the best outcome! Only later in life, I learned that I confused worrying with caring and that worrying is a control mechanism that keeps me busy minding other peoples' businesses. 

Recently I learned that worrying is more than that! - it's an indirect expression of anger and that was the game-changer for me. Let me share with you the cure to worrying so that you can create more space within yourself to experience life, love & peace.

You might work on your low self-esteem, lack of self-awareness or presence for years and still find yourself in situations where you feel physically weak, doubt your own reality, struggle to stand your ground and your decisions and actions are determined by the surrounding people in your life.   If that's repeating, your path of personal development should include knowledge of codependency, its origin, behavioral patterns, and knowing how to heal from it.

Asking for what you want is an act of vulnerability. The reason we're not good at it is that we've been shamed ("don't be so selfish") and punished for wanting: "if you don't stop acting like this, you can walk home alone".

Therefore, we found indirect ways how to demand and manipulate our environment into giving us what we want, although, most often we get what we don't want. How come?

Forgiveness is this glorified idea in spirituality and an attractive goal in the personal development industry. We say "you need to forgive them... For your own sake". In Radical Honesty, we also talk about forgiveness but it's not a goal, nor an ideal state. It's an accident.

Like compassion, forgiveness emerges from emotional completion naturally. You don't need to create forgiveness, just like you don't need to actively create connection. When you address and integrate what's in the way to experience connection and forgiveness, they happen.

This episode of Honestea is for me! This Monday I get to go live to rant about a type of people who express their anger by asking questions! I honestly really wholeheartedly hate them unless they admit the harm. Askholes are people who instead of being straightforward assholes, pretend to be friendly and get to torture you by innocently asking leading questions. Some coaches are askholes too. It's a manipulation technique that can lead to gaslighting. It's absolute evil and I will gladly spend my Honestea time on Monday describing that!
