You do not have to remain in toxic and unhealthy situations. If you hang out unprotected in a chemical plant, you are bound to suffer from disease and die. The same happens in toxic relationships. I will offer you some suggestions of things you can do to get safe. This discussion is not exhaustive and is my opinion. Thank you for listening.
This podcast is about a personal grief story I had recently and what I got out of it. I want to encourage you to reach out to your local mental health professional and get help if you need to process it with someone. Be blessed!

Cognitive Behavior Therapy is an effective tool that one can use with or without a therapist, depending on what your goals are. This tool is not meant to replace a professional relationship with a licensed clinician. It is meant to augment the work you do in session or it can be used to improve your life when there is no psychopathology present. I hope you enjoy listening to this podcast. Being in an unhealthy relationship is not God's will for your life. When someone you love suffers from mental illness and refuses to get help, it becomes your problem too. In this podcast, I talk about one particular unhealthy relationship scenario- men who have narcissistic traits. I will inform the listener of what some of these traits are and what the end result is in this type of relationship you will never win. Ladies, let's take a good look at ourselves, our dreams, our passions, and the plan that God has for our lives and then live it.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) causes depression in individuals during the fall-winter months and for some during the spring-summer months. There are many things that you can do to feel better and I define and outline this in this segment.

Abortion is a spiritual problem and the church has gotten out of position on the matter. Do you all think that voting Republican is going to stop babies from dying or women from feeling hopeless? Do you think voting Democrat is going to be better for this matter? Both are very wrong! What do you think will happen if abortion is abolished? What do you think will happen if it is not? I am ministering from my heart on the matter and will give tools that can be used to provide hope and healing in this pervasive issue.

If you are having a mental health emergency, please contact 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
According to CDC, approximately 1 in 4 women and nearly 1 in 10 men have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV) sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime. Moreover, more than 43 million women and 38 million men experienced psychological aggression by an intimate partner in their lifetime.** Being at home because of the pandemic makes it worse because normal protective orders and fleeing a situation could provide relief. But, if stay-at-home orders are in place, some may be stuck in very dangerous situations.
It is my goal to increase awareness of the characteristics of domestic abuse or (IPV) and provide a few resources that one can use to get help. It is not all-inclusive, but a great start to a wealth of tremendous research. What I found to be amazing is that when I went on www.thehotline.org, it provided a way for me to delete my search history for protection. I am impressed. I also got resources from https://txabusehotline.org and https://www.samhsa.gov/. I hope you find this information useful to get help or provide help for someone who is in trouble.
