For our Easter service, we venture into the first Book of the Bible, Genesis, to dive into God's creation of earth and people. Even at the beginning, Jesus was present and evident. Jesus is alive and He is our Savior!

Today's sermon is a continuation of last week's sermon in which we talk about a daunting mission, a dangerous message, and a disastrous miss in this section of Mark.

For today's sermon, we start discussing the first of the two stories in Mark 6:7-29 in which Jesus sends out his disciples on a daunting mission. Through this mission, we discuss how trusting God reveals this truth: God is King, you are not.

Today's sermon focuses on the beginning of Mark chapter 6 in which Jesus visits his hometown of Nazareth. He is met with ignorance and he marvels at the people's unbelief. We leave you with this question for the day: Does Jesus marvel at your unbelief?

Today as we read through Mark 5:21-43, we see three things revealed: desperation, destitution, and death. All three things we are familiar with, and all three things lead us to Jesus. We need Him and He is our Savior.

This sermon focuses on the end of Mark chapter 4 in which Jesus calms the storm. In this section of Scripture, the disciples exhibit some distrust in which Jesus provides calm by demonstrating his power over Satan through his command.

As we continue through the book of Mark, Jesus gives up a few little parables that have a big impact on the life of a Christian. He ends this section with a plea. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

As we jump back into our sermon series on the book of Mark, we start in Mark 4. During this section of Scripture, Jesus discusses the parable of the four soils and what they mean. We pray that you will allow Jesus to soften your heart and know that God's grace alone gives us salvation.
