The task of being witnesses to the world is made possible by God's purposeful appointing, enabling people to believe and become disciples of Christ. Through God's sovereign decisions, the Church of Christ grows.

Faith, hope and love cannot be seen with the eye but we can see what they produce. The apostle Paul was grateful to the church of Thessalonica for their work of faith, labor of love and steadfast hope. These same characteristics are essential for the church of today as well.
