Exodus 39-40

In Exodus Ch. 25-30 God had instructed Moses in how to direct the people in the building and furnishing of the Tabernacle. Now in ch. 35 they begin making and building the elements of the tabernacle. God was specific in His instruction and Moses and the nation of Israel were to be certain in following those instructions.

God today gives instructions for our lives. We are to follow them fully. Here we discuss keys in fully following God's instructions for our lives.

In Mark 7, the religious leaders of Jesus Day followed Jesus but not to find truth, but rather to find fault.

Well intentioned people can believe in God, but come to God with the wrong intentions, and it is from, and can lead to, a heart that is far from Him.

If we are honest, we find some places in scripture to be dry, difficult to read, or difficult to understand.

This message looks at what might be considered such a place for some, the instruction of building the tabernacle and furniture for the tabernacle, and what do we do when we come to such a place in our own Bible reading.

In Mark 6:45-52, following the feeding of the Five Thousand, Jesus directs His disciples to leave and head out to sea and sending them into a storm. Life is full of challenges, how we view them will impact how we view life and how we view God.

When God calls, will we answer the call? Will we make excuses? Will God accept our excuses and limitations? Find out in this look at the calling of Moses, and how we can apply what he learned, to our lives today.

Cultivating compassion for others can be difficult. Time, circumstance, our own exhaustion, interruption, can all but a dent in our sense of compassion for others. Yet Jesus showed the necessity and the way to a compassionate heart in this account of the feeding of the five thousand as found in Mark 6:34-44
