Dear Johnny,

My name is Candace and I am married with two kids, 14 and 5. My husband James and

I both work full time jobs, but have had trouble lately trying to stay above financial

issues. Our truck has been in and out of the shop for the past few months for one

reason or another. Our transmission went out, sensors were going bad and then some

computer issues. Getting repairs done has set us back so much that I even had to pawn

my wedding ring just to cover some of the costs. We’ve also fallen behind on paying for

daycare for our youngest son. I recently had to change jobs to be closer to home to cut

down on daycare hours, but we just can’t catch up. They have been good about working

with us, but I’m afraid we could lose our spot. I’m a US Army veteran and have been

taught to never give up, but I just don’t know I’m ever going to be able to fix this. I thank

you for taking the time to read my letter and anything you could do would be much
