Dear Johnny,

On Saturday, December 2nd around 7:30 am, a man driving a truck lost control and ran into our town home driving through the wall into our living room. Luckily my daughter and I were not at home, but now we are scrambling for a place to live. 

The Red Cross helped us with $640 but that is not going very far. We have been in a hotel since Saturday night and soon will have no place to go. I just paid our rent December 1st and now that money is gone. And they're not going to be done with repairs for at least 2 to 3 months on our unit. 

I'm a single mom my daughter lives with me she's 18 years old and we have 2 dogs. We are just stressed about what is going to happen to us. I have reached out to multiple agencies I was directed to by Red Cross, but they don't have funds to help us. We did find a 2-bedroom duplex to rent and we were approved but I just don't have the money for rent deposit and pet deposit and I am trying to figure out a way to come up with that. My next paycheck isn't until December 13th and I don't know what else to do. Even though this was all an accident I just want to know that my daughter and I have a place to lay our head at night.
