God’s workmanship is shaped through the school of hard knocks and the school of the Holy Spirit, who revive us, draws us closer to the Lord, and helps us in this life. Romans 8:18-19 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” Every time there is a problem in a community or nation, what God contends with at that time is not the wickedness of the devil but the unavailability of groomed godly men and women!

God’s workmanship is the work of art, God’s masterpiece, God’s handiwork, God’s pinnacle of His creation, and God’s product of grace. God is continuously working in us, to shape our hearts & minds, and to grow us according to His perfect design in a school of obscurity, a place of hiding, insignificance or ordinariness. Learn to trust God’s process at all times.

To emerge and make a difference, you need to be able to rise from: Depression, Disappointment, Despondent, Discouragement, Abuse, Rejection, and Mental disorder. It’s time to shake off anything that interrupts your purpose, just like the woman in Mark 5:25-30, the Bible says; “And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better, she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.” Speak healing into existence, break out from the norm and embrace your destiny, it’s time to arise and conquer. -  Rev SC Mathebula

There are times in life when one feels defeated and discouraged, Times when all things are falling apart and nothing seems to help. The truth is life is a series of battles and warfare (Spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, etc. Looking into the life of Samson (Judges 16:15-20) Ps Jacob Morokane encourages the church that in spite of challenges and warfare we face in life God is there for us and we ought to never give us, we can lose our hair(similar to Samson) but it will grow back, give it one last time and keep keeping on.

The Giant Killing stones starts with a journey of Chastisement, the building of character, and a journey of courage while being confident in the Lord. 

The giant in front of you is never bigger than the God who lives in you. The killing of the giant begins with chastisement behind the scene. “David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!” So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword. Then David ran over and pulled Goliath’s sword from its sheath. David used it to kill him and cut off his head. When the Philistines saw their champion dead, they turned and ran.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47, 50-51 NLT. Rev SC Mathebula

Giants are real, but they do fall. Your giants are not giants to God. These giants of life are not only tormenting us but they also challenge our God. Anything that opposes the will of God in our lives has to fall. If you want the giant to fall you need to show up for battle, be able to identify your giants, While being who God has made you be, and minimize your giant. “David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.”

1 Samuel 17:45-46 David brought down the giant that was defying the armies of God by identifying the giant that was tormenting the Israelites. Be ready to show up for the battle at all costs. - Rev SC Mathebula

The unrelenting warriors don’t back down from the war, they rise up to the occasion. Rooted and grounded I’m the Word, they delight in the laws of the Lord, the study, memorize the scriptures to be able to stand against the enemy, and unyielding warriors don’t succumb to the standard of the world, fear doesn’t move them, they face everything and rise. The Bible says; “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV. Christianity is the only army that leaves its wounded soldiers behind, however, God didn’t call us to be that kind of Christians. We ought to be kind and merciful to one another, when we have compassion for our fellow brothers and sisters we will understand that no man must be left behind to die when the going gets tough. The book of Galatians 6:1, Says; “Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. and be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.” Here’s a challenge for you, how many people you know have fallen by the wayside but you haven’t reached out to them, just because life is good for you at this moment, let’s restore humility in the house of God by carrying our fallen soldiers in Christ for the journey ahead. When you are connected to the source of life and delight in Him, your keep your dream alive. Always be resolute, and have an expectant heart that the Lord is able to work all things together for your good. As the salt and light of the earth choose to dream again; “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.
