Helloooooo, amazing people. You’re welcome to my music video entry for the Neoxian city talent hunt. It’s been a really long time I last did a music video and of course, trying this out again was really difficult for me but I’m happy I tried.

For my entry, I did a song by Urban Choir which was originally written by Omah Lay titled **I’M A MESS**. Right now, this is one of my most played songs on my phone. The more I listened to it, the more tempted I was to learn it and make an entry with it and here we are! I tried to sing it all by myself but it would have made even more sense if it was sang by a group. My love for the song couldn’t let me wait, hehe.

This song resonates with me so much in many ways except for the alcohol and Louis Vuitton part, lol. This song talks about how much our emotions play with us, one moment we are happy, the other moment we are sad. Another time we are good and other times we are wild. It’s a song that shows the artist’s vulnerability and I can only imagine what he was really going through at the time he write down these lyrics.

I’m learning not to expect too much from people. I thought I don’t but recently, something happened that made me realize that I have been expecting so much lately but I’m happy I’m back to normal again. The truth is, I actually feel like a mess now but I also feel grateful because I have been able to realized just how messed up I am. It’s time to get the few pieces of me back that’s left and make something beautiful out of it.

It’s been a while since I last shared a market post, so I’m happy I get to do this today! I hope this meets you well. So today been Friday, is my favorite day for sharing a shopping post with you all because as we know, the community is a market Friday community, hehe. I have had this shopping experience for over a month now but I haven’t gotten the time to share it due to my exams I was preparing for but now that it’s all done, I refuse to wait another day.

For my market spree, my sister and I went to the shopping mall instead of the local market this time because we just needed a few things which you can’t really find in the local market except you want to stress yourself looking everywhere for it. And besides that, you can’t really trust some of these local vendors when it comes to some things like body cream, perfumes and the likes. So we went to the nearest shopping mall which was recently opened not so far from where we live.

We actually went for the shopping on a Sunday after we closed from worship. My sister needed to check for the prices of some things and then we needed bread and also body cream and perfume. We took our tour round the mall and I got to take images of almost anything my eyes met, hehe. Since it was a new mall, I must say the sight was worth it. After spending about 10 minutes just admiring some things, we had to go and pay for the few things we bought and head back home.

The prices of things at the mall were quite expensive although I was expecting it to be a little lesser than usual since it was a new mall but that wasn’t the case at all, lol. I was even more shocked when I saw the prices of teddy bears and the painful part is they are not even as cute as I expected but they were very expensive. The list I saw was around $40, I could only take a picture of it and pass by. You will find the image in the video, hehe.

My sister had planned to check for the prices of baby lotion and she thought the prices were fair enough. She was just eager to know how much children stuffs are sold so we managed to check and fill our eyes as much as we wanted. Although at some point it was as if the attendants were already getting tired of us and I think that was when we just had to go to the counter to pay for what we got.

It was a fun tour at the mall and I’d be happy to go back there. The name of the shopping mall is Koka Junction Mall and this is because it is located close to the Koka Junction in Asaba, Delta state Nigeria. So if you ever get to visit Asaba and would love to get something from a mall, you can check out this mall.

Hello everyone, it’s another week for hivelearners creative Sunday and I’m coming in with another song cover but this time something a little different but I hope you’d love it. I came back from church and I had to prepare something to eat but during most of the time I was at it, I was humming a song in my head and when I was done I just knew I should present that song since it was creative Sunday. The song is a chorus and it’s a really powerful one I must say. It is titled **”BEFORE THE THRONE”**, I’m not sure who sang the song but I just loved it anyways.

This song is a song that tells of the need to reverence the power that the almighty God commands. It’s a song that you can sing to worship God and reverence him. The song always hits differently when it is sang by more people but I do hope you enjoy listening to me do the cover alone. I just want you to listen to the melody of the song and try to understand it so you will appreciate it more.

Going before God’s throne might just be all you need. He knows everything, he sees everything and he controls everything, so going to him to direct your steps is the best thing you and I can do for ourselves. God has always been ready to accept us as long as we recognize that he is the one that has the power to everything. This brings the story of the rich fool to mind, this man had a very bountiful harvest and all he could think of was to break down his old barn, build a bigger one to accommodate more of his harvests and enjoy himself.

That wasn’t all, he still went further to give the glory to himself and God proved to him that indeed he was the one who gave him all he had. God took his life and when he died all his harvests went to those who had nothing. Sadly, the man failed to realize who has given him the bountiful harvest and he didn’t even had the mind of sharing what he had with those who don’t have and that wasn’t pleasing to God and he proved himself to the man. This is to tell us how important it is to always acknowledge God’s providence in our lives.

Nothing we have today was by our power, it was all by God’s grace and the earlier we acknowledge that, the better for us. Always go to God’s throne and seek for his wisdom and not your own. Because he was the one who tore the veil that separates us and now we are no longer strangers to him but as many that have accepted his ways are now his own children.

Hello there, it’s so good to have you stop by to see what I have prepared for this week! I’m always so happy when I’m at this stage of making a write up for vibes web3 music competition because it means I made it through, hehe. So this week is a special week and it’s week 20 and it happens to be one of the longest week we’ve had and that is due to the just concluded Hivefest. Too bad I wasn’t able to follow up with it this year but I know for sure that it must have been a fun filled event and also an eye opener as well.

So based on the reason for this extension, I thought that I needed to present something that relates to it in a way and the song that came to me at that moment was **Memories By Maroon 5**. This song was a very huge hit the year it was released because it is a song that almost anyone can relate with. Memories tells us of the connections we’ve had with people and the ones we’ve lost especially due to the death of a loved one. Over the years we’ve built a lot of meaningful relationships and in this same years we’ve as well lost some of them.

Sometimes when we engage in some activities we’ve done before with these people we’ve lost, it’s almost impossible for us not to recall the memories we’ve shared together. We tend to remember the good and the bad times and sometimes we even wish we can have the bad times again as long as we get to see them again. This song is a simple but complex song in between, I hope that as you listen to it you take out some time to appreciate those relationships you’ve built that are still very much alive and those ones you’ve lost.

I believe that the Hivefest has been one great place for so many Hivers to meet off Hive and they must have made a lot of memories that they will cherish for a really long time. I know how sad it must have been if one special person couldn’t make it for the event, doing some stuffs there would definitely trigger the memories of them! So even as we keep having more hivefests, I hope that we continue to make as much memories as possible because no one knows what’s coming.

A big shout out the Vibes organizers who also happens to be an active part of making #Hivefest2024 a reality. I pray God bless you all for the amazing work you are putting in to make vibes a place for as many musicians out there, personally I’m grateful and proud to be a member of this community and I hope to keep giving my best.

Hello everyone, it’s another week for hivelearners creative Sunday and it’s with great pleasure I’m sharing my entry! So today, my neighborhood was a bit quiet, I guess it’s because today is Sunday (not always though) so I decided to make a music video as an entry for this week. I had so many songs in mind but then I had to go with **Try everything by Shakira** because that was the song that tells so much about me in the past few weeks.

Being a student comes with a lot of packages and trust me you need a sound mind to scale through. At first, the journey seemed so hard and difficult but after a while I got to realize why it was so hard for me because, first, I tried doing everything all by myself and it just didn’t work. Second, I was super conscious of not making any mistakes but that also didn’t work. Third, I was worried about every single thing and that was even the worst of them all.

A lot of persons reached out and they said a lot of things which opened my mind and allowed me see things a little bit differently than I’ve always saw them. I started seeking for help when I needed one, I was a bit more loosen to making mistakes, instead I focused more on how to get it right next time. And finally, instead of letting myself worry about everything, I just told God about anything that tried to stress me. Life got a lot better and it’s still getting even better the more I did things this way.

The song Try everything by Shakira is a song that tells of one who is resilient and optimistic even through all the ups and downs. It’s a song that just gives you this relieve that it is fine to make mistakes than not trying at all. Most times we get so scared of making mistakes and end up not doing anything just like I did at first. The truth is, no one knows it all and no one is perfect, we only work towards being perfect and we can only attain that if we walk in the light of God because he is the only perfect one.

So next time when you feel like hitting your head on the wall, just pause for a moment and tell yourself it’s fine and seek for help! And that shouldn’t stop you from trying and trying and trying until you get the results you want. Like I’d always say, there is no room for giving up, only room for improvements, so don’t forget that.

Good day everyone, it’s so good to have you stop by and have you watch my entry for the 19th week of the vibes web3 music competition. I’m not the best at singing but I do it with all the love I have for music and it is always something of satisfaction to me. So for this week, I did a song cover of **TRUST IN YOU BY LAUREN DAIGLE**. I don’t usually have favorite artists but so far I can safely say Lauren is one of my favorite especially when it comes to gospel music. This song is a song that I loved from the first day I listened to it and it has been a source of inspiration and comfort to me especially through the ups and downs that I’ve been through lately and still even going through.

Indeed God has been gracious to me, far more than even what I expected no wonder Paul said, Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than what we even think or imagine. Knowing that I have a father who is always concerned and watching over me is something that has kept me going through thin and thick. Sometimes I have my doubts but I do know that his promises are yes and amen and he does have a plan of good for me and he is definitely going to give me an expected end, so I do trust in him.

Hola, it’s another week for vibes music competition and it’s on the theme **DISNEY**. So for my entry, I did a song cover of **LET IT GO** from the Disney movie Frozen. When I saw the theme for this week, I had the mind of doing a cover from one of my favorite animations of all time Moana but then I wanted to explore something else so I asked a friend to make a suggestion for me and he went with this song so I decided to give it a shot.

This song is a song that builds around a girl who has to hide away for so long because of the power she possess until the day she got to realize she will be queen and she had to let go of her powers. All her life she has been told what to do and what not to do because her parents didn’t want anyone to find out she has such a power not even her own sister. The movie is an interesting one and if you are yet to check it out, I’d recommend it for you if you don’t mind.

Hello everyone, it’s vibes web3 music competition week 17 and for this week, I’m joining in late but I still hope you check out what I have for you. I presented a song titled **RUNAWAY BY AURORA**. It’s a song that could make one feel nostalgic but trust me you’d enjoy that feeling because for some reason it’s just comforting. A friend recommended this song for me and I do hope that he enjoys my cover 🥰.

In this song Aurora expresses how much she missed home and wanted to just go back home. Runaway was a song she wrote as a little girl but according to her, she only realized the true meaning of it when she became an adult. Most times as children we always want to go away from home because we feel that is not the right place to be due to some things we find not convenient, well it’s only a matter of time before we start wishing we had stayed a little longer.

Of course there are exceptions, I don’t want to ever wishing going back to a home where there is domestic violence. But for a home when in the end you realize that all they ever showed you was love, you’d wish you had stayed longer. Life is always full of making choices and when we make the wrong choices sometimes we just end up accepting whatever comes and never strive to make things right again.

Hello everyone ❤️, it’s another beautiful week for vibes web3 music competition week 15 and I’m super happy to be part of those making an entry this week and I’m hoping you all enjoy the little I have prepared this week.

This week was quite challenging for me even though I never expected to be since I had more time than usual. For the fact that I don’t live alone and in a quiet environment, it has taken a toll on me in ways that I just have to learn to deal with it. As they say, if life gives you lemons use it to make lemonades, hehe.

Anyways, despite all the setbacks and all, I made an entry and that means so much to me because at some point I was thinking this was going to be the week when I miss vibes for the first time, but I’m glad it wasn’t, because I hope do even wish for that week to come, lol. So without further ado, let’s dive in quickly to what I have for us.

For my song choice, I have been listening to Beautiful things by Benson Bonne a lot lately that even my roommate asked me if I planned presenting this song. Well, at that point when she asked me I wasn’t sure because I felt like this song was not a song I want to sing and not sing it well. It took me over a week to finally agree with myself to sing this song so here is what I made!

While trying to make my video cover, I kept getting interruptions from my neighbors, vehicles passing by and even from my roommate. It was a bit frustrating but there was nothing I could do but just think of a way out. After much deliberation, I finally decided to do an audio cover instead and I’m quite satisfied at how well it turned out and I do hope you still get to enjoy it as much as you would enjoy my video cover.

“Beautiful Things” is a really nice song that I believe a lot of us if not all of us can relate with. It’s a song that talks about the fear we have when we think of losing the beautiful things and people around us. You know, things come and go but then it’s really sad when they go than when they come and the thought of losing what we have especially those priceless things was what prompted these lyrics in Benson’s head and it is totally what I can relate with at different levels.

I made an audio cover with the lyrics attached to it so I do hope you enjoy listening to it. A lot of things to improve on but it is quite decent for your ears, haha. Go listen to it and drop all your amazing comments and of course your constructive criticism and I hope to keep getting it right.
