Hello everyone, it’s another week for the hivelearners creative Sunday and I’m super excited that I got this opportunity to share an entry with you all today. So for my entry for today’s creative Sunday. I did a cover of **RUNNING BY LOJAY AND AYRA STARR**. I learnt this song about 2 years ago and I did a cover of it back then and today I’m making the second cover but an acapella version.

Running is a song that speaks of a girl who has been heart broken and that has made her shield her heart so it doesn’t get broken again. So many times when we find ourselves in love with someone, even though they don’t love us the way we love them, we are sometimes tempted to keep being persistent and depending on how persistent we are, we might indeed get what we want but then at that point we might be more prone to heartbreaks because we know how hard it was for us to get to the stage we are.

The more we try to see reasons with them, the more we be like scapegoats and when we see someone in similar situations, we just laugh or easily relate because we know we’ve been there before. As they say, never advise someone in love because they won’t ever agree with you, lol. Heartbreak is real and even though it’s easy for some people to walk away from it, it’s also just as hard for some others to walk away. Nowadays, we see people finding it hard to believe in love because they’ve been scapegoats more than not.

Personally, I’m scared of heartbreaks and I guess that is why I can relate so well with this song, hehe. I don’t want to get my heart broken so I don’t want to love no more *(until when it is just inevitable)*. I’ve been hurt before and I’ve hurt people too and trust me when I say I’m tired of hurting people (although I can’t control it most times) and that is why I have had to take some decisions for myself so it’s better they just call me a stubborn girl or whatever but I know it’s for the greater good and I don’t want to care or worry about it too much, hehe.

I didn’t get my heart broken recently though but after looking for which song to sing this was the one that came to mind and I totally enjoyed making this cover and I do hope you enjoy it as well. It has actually been a while I made a creative Sunday post and I was just so determined to do something today and here is it!! 🤗.

Helloooo there 🤗, you are welcome to my creative blog for the Hivelearners creative-sunday. Today I shared a song cover of a song titled **"BROKE ME FIRST"** by Tate McRae. I did an acapella cover of the song.

This song is a song that talks of the revenge one could get for hurting someone in a relationship. To think that I just read a post from someone where she talked about being in a relationship or being single, it only helped me imagine why this revenge most times is unavoidable.

The truth is, no matter how we try to avoid being offended, we are still definitely going to get offended and even though we don't, it won't be the same for our partners. Just for the fact that we all think and see things differently is more than enough to justify why people get misunderstandings but then that doesn't mean there is no way to fix some of these things.

But sadly, some people get really hurt to the point that all they want is just to get back at the one that has hurt them and they never feel bad about it because they were the ones that got broken first. In fact they find joy or solace in paying back in the same way or even more that they were paid in.

This happens most times because maybe they have endured too much what they can handle and that just makes then get really tired at some point. Due to how scared they are of losing someone they love, they find themselves holding up longer than they should. And then it gets to the point when they just can't take it anymore because they get wiser.

They start seeing those red flags they've ignored for so long and this time they react differently to them in a way that their partner would notice that things are no longer how they seem. They start sharing their frustration through their attitudes so the next person knows that they can't be fooled any longer.

It's hard to just keep up with someone in a relationship when they don't treat you the way you ought to be treated and it's only a matter of time before you can keep taking that. Sometimes you only get to realize that you deserve more when someone else treats you better.

But then it's good to always remember that it's easy for someone to treat you very nice for the first time they met you if they have an ulterior motive *~~(not everyone though, there are still some good people out there)~~*. So you just have to be careful not to get broken because if you do you might just never get the chance to heal from your brokenness. Or it might take you really long before you do and that might cause you someone better.

*Hello my beautiful and handsome afri-listners, it's been a while and I can see really new faces almost every week and it's amazing, I want to use this medium to say a big welcome to everyone new here 🥰...*

It's already the 108th week of Afritunes weekly contest, and for this week I did an acapella song cover of a song by a very popular artist here in Nigeria and her name is Ayra Starr. I love her for how she puts her lyrics together and her voice, it's beautiful. She has really great vocals that commands attention once she starts singing.

I've been trying my best to work on something every other week but then I somehow ended up not dropping an entry. I tried thinking of which song to sing but the only Africa song that kept coming to my mind to sing was Ayra's song and that was what I settled for.


I remember how hard it was for me at the start of this year to make my videos but so far so good it has only gotten better and it will keep getting better. Well, I'm at least happy I could share my entry with you today and I hope you receive it well anytime you get to listen to it.

Like I mentioned a little late but, the song was sang by Ayra Starr Ft. Ckay and it's titled **BEGGIE BEGGIE**. I did an acapella cover of the song which made it even more interesting and I hope you will enjoy watching through 🤭.

Beggie beggie is a song that talks about lovers and how they both are quite competent in their own way and the challenges of other people trying to come in between. Well, I don't think that is the best description of the song but it's what I can get from it, hehe.

Hello everyone, it's another beautiful start of the week where we get to show a little creativity in anything possible. For today I shared a process of how my sister and I made fried rice. This was how I learned how to finally make it and I believe if you follow through with the video and the write up that I'd be sharing, then you can also make this just like we did.

**So without further ado, let's get right into it, hehe.**


So the first things first, what do we need for this delight of a meal?! First we need our 1️⃣ rice, 2️⃣ Green pea, 3️⃣ Spring onion, 4️⃣ Green pepper, 5️⃣ liver, 6️⃣ carrots, 7️⃣ fried rice spices (lasor), 8️⃣ Groundnut oil, 9️⃣ beef or chicken, 🔟 kidney beans or sweet corn.

So above are the ingredients we made use of in preparing our fried rice and I believe you can also make the same with those same ingredients as well. Now let teach you the secret to how we made the fried rice so easily but with a great result!

After getting all your ingredients needed, now you want to wash them thoroughly to remove sand and other unwanted things from it. When you've thoroughly washed your vegetables, it's now time to dice them into your required sizes. It wasn't so fun dicing them at first but the more you see the out come the more satisfying it become, hehe.

While you dice your vegetables, make sure your beef or chicken is already getting steamed. Make sure you season it very well because remember we will be needing the residue (broth), hehe 😁. So when you are done dicing and your steamed meat is ready, then we move to the next stage.

Add already boiled water to your raw rice and leave for at least 10 minutes. Add more water to the broth and then add your fried rice spices and seasonings to taste. Don't add too much salt, remember you steamed your meat with some, except you want your taste buds to swim in a salt water 😃.

After getting your broth seasoned, wash your rice inside just as you can see in the video. Make sure the water is not so above your rice so it doesn't get over cooked. After doing that, then you can leave your rice to cook until the water has completed dried off. At some point you can mix but not more than once.

Once that is done, now we move to the next stage which is frying our vegetables!!! I love this part because it's what makes your fried rice what it is, hehe.

You can make use of a pot or a frying pan, for me I made use of a pot because I'd need to cover it properly since we won't be using everything that day. You can check the video for the clear process of how to fried your vegetables. Just bear it in mind that you don't have to fry them for too long.

Hello everyone, it's another amazing Sunday to display our Creativity in every way possible and I'm definitely not missing that opportunity this week! It has actually been a while I presented something like this and I hope it would be worth your time Listening to it. I'm not so creative in plenty things but from feedbacks I've gotten lately, I think music is where I get more creative so here you go!

I have had the plans of sharing a good video but it is a bit hard putting the video together so I just had to go for what I love best which is music. Like since I woke up I've just been singing one song to another so I thought it would be just fulfilling doing a music video entry today as always. Hopefully with time I'd get to share the cooking video with you all.

As I'd always love to say, Music is beautiful and it's really so hard not to just love it especially if it's good music! You don't even need to force it, it just flows. Like I said the previous week, I have so many songs I wish to do a cover of but I barely know the lyrics of so many of them so I always end up settling for a song that I can easily vibe with and this one is not an exception, hehe.


So for my presentation, I did a song cover of **"HOLD ON TO ME BY LAUREN DAIGLE"** a western artist. She has quite a lot of beautiful songs and I've always enjoyed listening to her song because they are songs that you can relate with anytime. I got to know this particular song when I was still singing with my group some years back and I realized I haven't done a cover of it before.

The song sends a message of reliance on God and how much of a loving God he is. Lauren sent a very strong message in her words that I feel not everyone can relate with because not everyone have really accepted the precepts of God. There are times when we are at our lowest point and at that point we feel neglected and rejected but remembering we have a God just gives us this assurance that everything will be fine.

My rendition was quite an emotional one because I decided to let the words flow through me and it was a beautiful feeling and I do hope you also get to feel that too. I'm always trying to get better at my music videos and most especially my voice and my overall presentation and I do hope to get your feedbacks criticism (to make me better) and your support in anyway possible. Hello everyone, it's a really great pleasure to have you stop by today to check out what I have for you today. It's not so much but I hope it would be worth your time. As some of you know, it's the Hivelearners creative-sunday a day where we get to be creative about almost anything and in my own way of being creative, I chose making a music cover.


Waking up this morning the first thing that was on my mind was what I was going to share with my followers and community(s) and after so many hours of being confused on what to write, I finally decided to participate in the Hivelearners creative-sunday with a song although I had something else in mind before but that would have taken me a lot of time so I had to do something more special and less time consuming.

Music is something beautiful and it's really so hard not to just love it especially if it's good music, you don't even need to force it, it just flows. I have so many songs I wish to do a cover of but then I barely know the lyrics of so many of them so I always end up settling for a song that I can easily vibe with. Creating this video for the creative-sunday was quite fun and engaging because I just thought of what to do and everything just worked out well.

So for my presentation, I did a song cover of **"LOOK ME IN THE EYES BY FAVE"** a Nigerian artist. She has quite a lot of beautiful songs and I've always enjoyed doing a cover of them. This particular song was my best at some point when I thought I was in love with someone but sadly I wasn't, I found out that I was only lost in the moment (phew 😪). This love thing is not just for me now at all 😂.

Anyways, I still liked the song because at least it gives me hope that someday someone will be willing to accommodate all my excesses and even be happy while at it, hehe. You know, love songs can be really lovely when you have someone that comes to your mind when singing or listening to them. Sometimes I just even wish the song I listen to is also what my crush listens to too, lol.

All through my presentation of this song, I was just smiling within me and even out when I couldn't hold it any longer, hehehe. I do believe that creating a video is a creativity on its own because not everyone can do that and I guess I do better at video creating than even singing. Entry for the vibes competition week 2

Helloooo my beautiful music lovers, it's been so many weeks of my inactivity in the Hive openmic community and there are so many excuses that I can give for that but then I did miss being here and I'm happy and proud of myself for doing this today. In as much as I love music, it's just so funny how little things can hinder me from listening to it or singing too. My past months of not being active here has majorly being due to my instability, I've been moving from one place to another and that has really affected me.


Anyways, for this week's Theme **"TELL A STORY (CONTAR UNA HISTORIA)"**, I did a cover of one Rihanna's songs titled **LIFT ME UP**. This song was released last year and it was a song that trended literally everywhere because of it's attachment to the movie **Black Panther**. Due to the death of the lead cast of that movie, this song felt really emotional and just right for the movie that was released after his death.

I've always wanted to do a cover of this song myself since it came out but I didn't get the chance until today and here I am hoping that someone loves my cover and also get to enjoy the comfort it brings. The story I'd love to tell with this song is a story that teaches us to have a open arms to those around us. Do you know how it feels to not be scared of what the storms of life brings to you because you have someone's arms to run into?

Day by day we all go through different phases of our lives and trust me most of them is not so easy to live through but when you have someone who is always there trying to share your burden with you, it always feels right. I do hope that this song just makes someone feels uplifted.

Hello beautiful and handsome musicians on the vibes web3 music community! My name is Hope with the username Hopestylist. First I'm specially grateful to have stumbled on this competition, I'm glad I get to participate and also get to tell some friends about it and I'm definitely getting them here with God on my side. A big shout out to @lordbutterfly, he has been really instrumental in so many ways that he doesn't even know and I'm saying thank you and also thanks to as many others who made this possible.

So without further ado, I did a song cover by Ni/Co titled **"ON PURPOSE"**. It's a really beautiful song that I loved right from the first day I heard it. It's a love song and I got to hear of it thanks to my friend's wedding, she always played the song that I couldn't get it off my mind and then I just decided to do a cover of it for this competition.

The song, just like the title, it's focused on how one just loves another on purpose without caring so much of other things. Even when they see a problem or a fault, they still chose to love. Looking at my friend's marriage, I could just totally relate well with the song because it defines so much of how she found love for herself and today she's living happily with her husband.

Finding love especially now is so hard. In fact now it's necessary that one just loves on purpose or else they will find it really hard to settle with anyone and this song passes that message. I love the lyrics, I love the vibes the song projects and I'm hoping I also get to pass that vibes to who ever gets to listen to this.
