Horizon Community Church

Join us this morning as we hear Pastor Kevin Brown's last Sermon as Executive Pastor at Horizon! as he unpacks the importance of Trusting the Clock & the Compass. Learning to trust in Gods Timing and his Direction is one of the toughest things to do in a world that is operating on its own timeline and map, but it is one of the most fulfilling things we can strive for in our walk with God!

In this series, we have been looking at the many issues our culture, and the church, is currently facing, and how we should identify, view, and respond to such issues!

This Weeks message is delivered by Becket Cook, former Hollywood set designer in the fashion industry, former gay man, and author. Becket speaks at churches, universities, and conferences helping believers (and non-believers) understand LGBTQ issues, theologically, culturally, and personally.

Beckett’s interaction with Jesus changed his life and set him on a track to now speak about how he has become a new creation in Christ, and how others can too!

In this series, we have been looking at the many issues our culture, and the church, is currently facing, and how we should identify, view, and respond to such issues!

As we reveal the issues of today, we will be challenged to reframe our Worldview through the lenses of 3 questions:

•Where did we come from and who are we?

• What has gone wrong with the world?

• What can we do to fix it?

HE IS RISEN!!! Join us for our Easter celebration at Horizon as we unpack the importance of Hope in our everyday lives!! Even more so, we will see that Hope is what keeps us alive!! As we define what Hope is, our desire is that you will learn how Hope in Jesus brings Freedom, Purpose, and Life!

As we observe the context of the historical triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, we will also be unpacking the Second Triumphal Entry of Jesus that is yet to come!

We are joined by Joel Richardson, of FAI Studios!

In this series unpacking "The Church", we have been looking at the role of the church in todays world. In todays Culture, it is sometimes too easy to get over involved, or just sit back and stay away from the issues we come across.

With this in mind, we will unpack some key questions in this series:

1. Is The Church supposed to be a Cruise Ship, with the whole experience being about "What I can get" or "Serving My Needs"?

2. Is The Church meant to be a Battleship, on the Offensive to actively attack the evil in the world? OR

3. Is The Church meant to be an Aircraft Carrier? Equipping, Sending, and Empowering individuals to be sent out on Missions?
