The Cotillion Stakes is a Grade 1 race for 3 year-old fillies, who will run 1 & 1/16 miles on the dirt, competing for a total purse of $1 million. The Pennsylvania Derby, also a G1 race, will have 3 year-old colts running 1 & 1/8 miles on dirt for a purse of $1M.

12:43 Medina Spirit, the putative winner of the Kentucky Derby, has just been withdrawn from the Penn Derby race, because trainer Bob Baffert “didn’t like the draw” so didn’t want the horse to bother to travel from CA.
