Episode #001: How to Be a Morning Person
Look at your calendar to get a grasp on what the day will look like to plan your morning.
Brain Dumping: Write down all of the things you want to accomplish the next day or what might be bothering you right now. “Clear the cache” so that you can not just a quality sleep, but your intentions for the next day are clear.
Gratitude Journaling: A great way to bring closure to each day. Pua writes in a gratitude journal. Kimi uses Grid Diary app.
Indecisive Clothing Disorder: Plan what you’re going to wear for the next day.

Inventory your Morning Routines: Find things that you can do the night before. For example: Kimi starts her day with bulletproof coffee, so she’ll fill up her tea kettle and measure ingredients the night before.
Blue Light: Blue light from electronics not only keeps you awake because it imitates sunlight, but also lowers your quality of sleep. Pua and Kimi use the Flux app which dims the computer screen as the sun goes down. Kimi also uses blue light blocking glasses that are yellow or amber tinted.

Make Time for Yourself: Make time for you so that you’re not rushing around and have a few minutes to meditate, take a few deep breaths, fill yourself with gratitude, and collect your thought for the day.
The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod: High achievers are often morning people. The pressures and expectations at the beginning the day are much lower. Hal Elrod created the Six Life Savers: Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing (Writing). He has a five minute and a one hour plan.
Be Inspired: Find something in the day that inspires you to get out of bed. If you’re having trouble getting out of bed in the morning, look deeper for what is inspiring you and what you really want to be doing in your life. Ask what you are getting up for.
Workout: Getting up for an early morning workout is an accomplishment and requires a commitment.
