There are several ongoing and upcoming shiny Pokémon distribution events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. One notable event involves the distribution of a shiny Pelipper, known as Patrick's Pelipper the Battle Champion, which is based on the Pokémon used by the 2024 NAIC Champion Patrick Connors. This Pelipper will be available through a Mystery Gift code shared during the 2025 LAIC stream, but the code can be redeemed from November 15-21, 2024[1].
Another event features a shiny Meloetta, which is the first time a shiny Meloetta has been made available. This Meloetta can be obtained through the Pokémon HOME mobile app after completing the Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Pokédexes, starting from October 16, 2024[1].
In Japan, a campaign starting on November 22, 2024, will distribute mythical Pokémon such as Deoxys, Keldeo, and Zarude through mystery gift codes obtained by accumulating points from purchasing participating products like Pokémon TCG packs and candy. This campaign will run until April 30, 2025[3].
Additionally, a Tera Raid Event featuring a shiny Rayquaza is scheduled from December 20, 2024, to January 6, 2025. Details on whether this Rayquaza can be caught or if it will just be a boss raid battle are not yet confirmed[3].
Other events include special Tera Raid Battles and Mass Outbreaks, as well as Mystery Gifts for specific Pokémon like Roy’s Fuecoco, Dot’s Quaxly, and Liko’s Sprigatito[5].
