And even though we are beginning to see some significant changes they are not coming without challenge. Janet’s daughter who is on the front lines of these important issues explained what the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on transgenders in the military will be for our forces going forward and whether or not the U.S. Department of Education will really close as the President has promised. Our guest turned the lives of 5 ordinary people who walked faithfully with God throughout the ups and downs of their lives, as a teaching template to help us understand what it means live out the Christian faith even when the road before you is uncertain, the journey seems too hard or God’s hand is not immediately evident.  Using stories from the lives of these five people, including a civil rights pioneer, a respected theologian and a beloved children’s television personality, our guest teaches us what daily dependance and obedience really look like in the life of the believer. Despite all the negative press, attacks from inside and outside its borders and vitriolic rhetoric and hate around the world, the nation of Israel and its people have an eternal destiny determined by God that nothing and no one can change. We turned to a respected teacher of Jewish history for a better understanding of why this land and her people are so important to God’s prophetic design and why the Church must continue to stand against the ongoing hatred of His chosen people. It’s time once again to put the news of the week on trial and measure it against the unvarnished truth of God’s word.
