In 1925 one of the most famous trials took place in America. The Scopes Trial (or as it is more commonly referred to “The Scopes “Monkey” Trial) was a landmark event that pitted proponents of evolution against those who believed the bible’s creation account in a battle for the educational soul of our nation.
