Stress. We all experience it in our lives and for some the struggle to overcome it can be very difficult, impacting both their physical and mental health. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week our guest shared 9 important habits grounded in cutting edge brain science and God’s word to teach us how to deal with the stress in our lives, the importance of gratitude, the impact of breathing on stress relief and the difference between stress and resilience. Our guest used the lives of women in the bible to examine what it really means to live by faith through the imperfect often messy lives of those who chose to follow God’s direction, when it didn’t make sense to them and when they knew it would cost them a great deal. It has always been a challenge to be a living witness to others but in our day and age it has become much harder because the antagonism and resistance to biblical Christianity is at an all-time high. Despite this our guest, a pastor and teacher who is respected around the world, encouraged us to not give up the fight. He used God’s word to show us what it means to live out our lives daily with conviction, resilience and trust in God and His word to guide us through the slings and arrows of a society that turned its back on His message of eternal hope and forgiveness.
