Well here we are, the season 2 finale. To top off this season, we figured we'd go back to basics with two popular lagers. First up, a cool and refreshing cerveza with Sol! Then to end it, we pop open a Stella Artois! We want to thank all of you listeners for sticking with us all the way through to the end of this season. We will be taking a bit of a break after this to do some retooling, but it is not the end! Ahhh another week, another set of cocktails. This time We'll be trying two powerful drinks with misleading appearances. First up the fruity and delicious Pina Colada. Cold and sweet, this drink will get you going before you know it. Then we will move on to a drink that has no tea at all, the Long Island Ice Tea! Don't be fooled, it may look chill, but trust us it packs a punch!

What is it about IPA's that we just can't get enough of? The Strong flavor? The aroma? The extra kick of alcohol? Who knows, but what we DO know is that they are awesome. If you haven't guessed by now we are trying out two new IPAs this week. First we blast off to space for some dust with Elysian Space Dust IPA! For seconds we have one of the coolest cans out there, straight from the Belching Beaver Brewing company, the Deftones inspired Phantom Bride IPA!

Now these are some refreshing drinks! This week, we take a step away from the brew and get back to the cocktails. And what better way than with two simple, yet delicious drinks! First up is the Gin and Tonic! It's as easy to make as it sounds and has amazing flavor. Then we'll continue with another drink with its recipe in the name, the Vodka Cranberry! Back to the dark brew! Moving on from the deliciously dark porters, we will be trying out two stouts. The first is a doozy with a bitching name, Dragon's Milk from New Holland  Brewing. Then we will go back to one of ur favorite brew makers with Stone's Xocoveza. Both are strong, and both are a tasty new treat!

Now this is a dangerous one for sure, but very interesting. This week we are gonna be serving up some powerful moonshine from Ole Smoky, Tennessee style! Each one has a pickling inside, so with these you get a drink and a snack. First we have the classic pickle in a mason jar, but instead of pickle juice we have moonshine. Then we will be having some peaches for desert. These drinks were really fun right off the shelf and make for an interesting combination.

On today's episode we will  finally be answering the question that has been on everyone's mind...is the proper abbreviation HOOB or HOATB? We know, we know, you've all been wondering why we chose HOOB, especially when HOOB stands for so many other...uhhh...colorful descriptions. Some weirder than others, looking at you hamster boobs, but don't worry, we will be searching the internet and explaining our choices. Oh also we will be reviewing some ciders! Talk about a dark drink'o  brew, if you've never had a porter then this episode is for you. Today we are trying out two rich coffee based drinks, known as porters, one of the darkest style of beer out there. And can I say these two are a good place to start trying out some dark beer, even if you aren't a fan of coffee. First we brave the dark waters of the cursed sea with Ballast Point's Victory at Sea. Second, we continue our journey to the pacific, where we try our first Pacifc Island beer with Maui Brewing's Coconut Hiwa! It doesn't get any better than this, so grab a glass and hold on tight!
