    • 39. Most Offensive Houseguest Behaviors; Kanye's Crazy New Home Purchase; a Kansas Mansion With Scuba Tunnels?!

Most of us can safely say that we’ve had a horrible houseguest at one time or another—you know, that person you smile at through gritted teeth as you secretly long for the guest room to be vacated? We’re not naming names, but in this week’s episode we discuss the most offensive behaviors in a houseguest—and how you can avoid being the one whom everybody’s hoping will skedaddle sooner rather than later.

Also, did Kanye West just make his craziest home purchase yet? You’ll never believe where the superstar and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, bought their latest property—although it is Instagram-worthy.

      Other topics we touch on:

      • Home upgrades millennials couldn’t care less about. (Your resident millennial co-hosts have some differing opinions here)
      • A Kansas megamansion where you can literally scuba dive underneath. (This is, in our humble opinion, the absolute craziest property we’ve ever come across on realtor.com—you’ve seriously got to see it to believe it.)
      • And, of course, our celebrity real estate winners and losers. Our loser definitely didn’t have a home run with his home sale, but our winner hit the right note with her latest purchase—which is pretty sharp, if you ask us.
      • So what are you waiting for? Subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. And please: Throw us a five-star rating if you like what you hear. The more good ratings and reviews we have, the easier it’ll be for people to find us.

      • 38. Obama Buys a Vacation Home—The Scoop on His $14.8M Fixer Upper; Would You Rent "The Conjuring" House?

It's one of the biggest real estate stories of the year: Barack and Michelle Obama are in the process of buying an estate on Martha's Vineyard. After years of vacationing on the island as renters, they finally found a property they'd like to make their own—and it's a bonafide fixer upper. Don't believe us? Take a look at the listing photos! The 7,000-square-foot estate has good bones, and the architecture is typical of a New England seaside estate (white coffered ceilings, expansive windows, exterior shingles, etc.). Plus, it's on 29 acres of land, so there's plenty of room to build out their compound. But the decor is begging to be overhauled. This week on "House Party," we discuss the ins and outs of the former president's palatial new pad including its location on the island (it's not close to their beloved Chilmark) and whether or not it's actually worth the $14.8M price tag.

On this new episode we also cover:

        • Lunar real estate (yes, we do mean buying property on the moon)
        • The real-life haunting at 'The Conjuring' house
        • Paint company Behr's color of the year
        • This week's celebrity real estate winner and loser

        • 36. Ghost Adventures Star Buys the Manson Murder House; Private Discos; Yacht Houses are Peak Luxury

The LaBianca house, one of the sites of the gruesome Manson Family murders, recently sold to none other than ‘Ghost Adventures’ reality TV star Zak Bagans. Is there anyone better suited to buy this notorious murder house? Probably not. Bagans is a paranormal fanatic and collector of haunted artifacts, so it makes perfect sense why he’d want to own a piece of the Manson Family history. And that’s why we had to talk about it on this week’s episode of House Party.

This episode, you’ll also hear us talk about these topics:

          • Homes with private discos
          • Hockey star Phil Kessel’s house goes viral thanks to the sad media room
          • Yacht houses, a.k.a. luxury condos on the water

This week organizing guru Marie Kondo was accused of stealing her folding method by a woman who calls herself The Beverly Hills Organizer. Is her charge legitimate or ridiculous? We have opinions. Khloe Kardashian's fridge is color-coordinated and very organized, but can she (or anyone) really keep it that clean? Spoiler alert: Chip and Jo are still the most popular home design stars and the duo people would most like to hire for a home renovation. Buuuut, a bunch of random A-list celebrities with zero design experience also made the list including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Also, we check in on the zany Detroit house that broke the internet and why it still hasn't sold. And, as always, this week's celebrity winners and losers.
