Time moves fast, and Junked Groove is turning two 🎉


What started as a small, raw idea has grown into a living space for groove-driven club music. Over the past year, we’ve expanded the family, explored new sounds, and stayed true to our core mission: being a shelter for raw and uncouth grooves.


To celebrate our second anniversary, we’re proud to present a new Various Artists compilation, released digitally and on a strictly limited run of cassette tapes.


This release brings together a global lineup of artists reflecting the many faces of the label today. From dusty jackin’ house rollers and warm deep house cuts to hypnotic minimal, deep tech excursions, late-night tech house pressure and even trance-leaning moments, the compilation moves through different corners of the underground.


Balancing soulful depth with stripped-back functionality, the record flows between emotional after-hours moods and raw dancefloor energy. Alongside returning contributors, it also introduces fresh names joining the Junked Groove universe, making this release both a celebration and a snapshot of where we are right now.


The cassette format remains an essential part of our identity, raw, tactile and timeless.
