We're happy to have Italy's Flying Moth appear on Cromarti Records debuting with a remix of PIGSIE's 'Strange Things.' His version settles into a steady, rounded groove, with crisp drums and a bassline that keeps the track moving without forcing the pace. The synth work gradually opens up through the arrangement, bringing in warm chords and melodic details that give the track more shape as it develops. Nothing is pushed too hard. The different parts come and go naturally, leaving plenty of room for the groove to hold everything together.

Is the deluxe remix version of the album originally released in 2024. This was the debut album from seasoned producer and DJ, Dominic Dawson And superstar model, singer, songwriter co-producer and all-round fabulous man ROY INC. The deluxe album contains all 13 original versions plus 14 new remixes from Producers such as Max Essa (Jansen Jardin Music), Masanori Ikeda (Coastlines), Dave Shakra A.K.A. Tranquil Elephantizer, M-Scape & Yoshi Horino (UNKNOWN season), Spacial Awareness (Hottwerk Records), DPPLGNGRS, Tom Silvester & Dominic himself.

The project started before Covid in 2019 but ROY INC and Dominic took a precaution based hiatus during Covid. The pair didn’t get back into the studio until 2022, when they completed recording, after which Dominic relocated to Tokyo to finish the mixing and mastering.

The album is an exciting mixture of dance genres that represents their eclectic taste and passion for all

genres of music. From funk and boogie to deep, soulful & tech house, alternative pop and electro that comfortably sit next to one another.

There is an underlying theme that runs throughout the album that is another shared passion, which is the lifting up and shining a light on the incredible achievements, through equality & diversity and the LGBTQ+ community, and the thesis that maintains that while cultures may differ, people are the same the world over regardless of colour or orientation. The message in this album touches on universal human emotions and is echoed in tracks such as ‘I Am U’ ‘Passage’ ’Lifeline’

‘Rise’ & ‘Preach’. Rhythm Syren takes the listener on a musical and lyrical journey, skilfully crafted with love and passion for music and life. Low Volume began in 2005, when two old friends from India found themselves living in the same neighbourhood in Germany. Life was busy, careers were starting, and the only time to make music was late at night, in a small bedroom studio, with the volume turned down so low it was almost inaudible. That constraint became the name, and in many ways, the sound: quiet, intimate, built for headphones and empty rooms.

Over the years, life pulled them in different directions. One moved away in 2014; the other sank into family, work, and the everyday noise of growing up. But the project never really stopped.

They kept meeting for long weekends, firing up old gear, trying new things, and letting the tracks happen by accident. The Afterhour EP (2009) and the vinyl-only Dhaba EP (2010) came out of that first chapter. Later, the Trapped EP (2020) and the Look Behind EP (2021) on Sirion Records showed how the sound had deepened, stretching into more progressive and atmospheric territory. Singles like Way Gone (2022) and Greece 2000 (2023) kept the thread alive between sessions.

Aftertime is what happens when you finally press pause on the waiting. It gathers seven tracks from fifteen years of jams, drafts, and experiments — late echoes from a friendship that refused to fade. This isn’t a comeback. It’s the sound of two people acknowledging the time that passed, then quietly stepping forward together into whatever comes next.

Emilio Mustafá Announces Funk City LP, A Groove-Driven Journey Through House, UK Garage and Latin Club Culture

Colombian DJ and producer Emilio Mustafá returns with his most ambitious project to date, Funk City, a full-length album arriving this September via his own imprint, Noisy Neighbours. Crafted over the course of a year between Bogotá and his new home in Barcelona, Funk City is a vibrant collection that blends house, deep house, tech house, UK garage, electro and Latin influences into a cohesive celebration of underground dance music.

A respected figure within Colombia's electronic music scene, Emilio Mustafá has built a reputation for groove-led productions inspired by '90s house, French deep house, hip-hop, salsa and Latin rhythms. His music has appeared on labels including Miura Records, Berlin House Music, Flat 22, Uré Guay Records and Y4 Collective, while his performances have taken him to renowned venues such as Baum, Armando Records and Video Club. In 2021, he co-founded Noisy Neighbours, a platform dedicated to showcasing Latin American house music on a global stage.

Opening with the jazzy, spoken-word introduction featuring Aguafiestas, Funk City quickly moves into deeper territory with the rolling house grooves of "The Dub Project" before weaving through UK garage, funk-infused house, disco and techno textures. "Cheese Pull" featuring Bralan Arias pairs squelchy basslines with improvisational Rhodes piano, while "Short Skirt Funk" locks into a hypnotic, driving groove. "Watcha Gonna Do" brings grime-tinged UKG energy before "Discoqueta" raises the tempo with an infectious disco workout. "Da Hype" fuses rugged house rhythms with hip-hop-inspired vocal chops, while "Invisible Criminal" draws influence from new jack swing. The album's title track, "Funk City", is a high-energy roller that channels the spirit of '90s garage house with infectious jazzy overtones, serving as one of the record's defining moments. The penultimate track, "Noche Entera", shifts into a more techno-influenced space and features Emilio's own voice, adding a personal touch before the album concludes with a fresh reinterpretation of the title track from fellow producer Yesca.

More than just a collection of club tracks, Funk City reflects Emilio Mustafá's musical identity, bridging Latin American roots with European club culture while remaining firmly grounded in underground dance music. The result is an album packed with infectious grooves, soulful musicianship and timeless dancefloor energy.
