Nathan Stewart is an Austin, Texas–based DJ, producer, and avid vinyl collector known for his deep house, slo-mo disco, and funk-infused sound. Over the years, he has released original productions and remixes on a wide range of respected house music labels, including Kolour Recordings, Headset, Denied Music, Masterworks, Dustpan Recordings, Midnight Riot!, Editorial, and Whiskey Pickle Records. He has also recorded and performed under several aliases and collaborative projects, including The New Black, Hideo Takamini, Sir Stewart, and Backseat Bingo. Blending soulful vocals, infectious grooves, and deep house rhythms, Nathan has earned a longstanding reputation throughout the global underground electronic dance music community.

Berobreo makes his debut on FRI with "I Guess I'll Never Know" EP, the label's 48th release.

Based in Berlin, Berobreo has built his reputation through disco, funk-infused house, and sample-driven productions.

For this release, however, he explores a more classic blend of deep house and UK house influences, showcasing another side of his sound.

The UK influence is especially evident on "Ready After Midnight" and "Melt Into Candy," both of which evoke the golden era of Julio Bashmore's early-2010s productions. Driven by bouncy sub-bass lines and garagy chords, the tracks capture the anthemic energy that defined that period while maintaining Berobreo's own distinctive touch.

The title track, "I Guess I'll Never Know," is a different beast altogether. Standing apart from the rest of the EP, it offers a glimpse into Berobreo's grittier production style, combining soulful vocal snippets that stick long after listening, along with raw, swinging, dust-coated drums.

Closing the EP, "Melow High" embraces classic deep house sensibilities, built around a hypnotic late-night chord progression that provides a warm and understated finale to the release.
