For the past decade, HMCS Ojibwa, a Cold War-era submarine, has welcomed hundreds of tourists to Port Burwell, Ontario since the decommissioned sub was converted into a tourist attraction. After more than 30 years of service, the submarine was destined for the salvage yard, but was saved by the Elgin Military Museum in St. Thomas.
