How did Jennie and I first meet?
It’s very simple. We fell in love at first sight, and she asked for my phone number, and here we are.
No, I was just joking. She’ll want me to tell you the real story. No, actually we met because Jennie was working at the karaoke place. She was in her early 20s and going to college.
When I first saw her, I was ordering food in the room and we were just chatting. I was flirting with her a bit. And I remember at the time she was wearing a skeleton necklace. She was serving our food when I grabbed the necklace. I said, “That’s cool,” and she was like, “What the hell?”
After that when I was paying, she was the cashier who gave me a VIP card. I thought it was a sign that she was interested in me.
But the real story was her boss was asking her to give VIP cards to certain kinds of clients. The place had just opened, and they wanted to encourage certain people to come back – people who looked like they would spend more money. So Jennie wasn’t interested in me at all!
