In Star Wars some things have been made canon whereas others have been left in legends. In the canon novel Lords of the Sith, we see Darth Vader speak in the ancient Sith tongue to Palpatine. The book is followed by "Tarkin" which I recommend, as well.
I wonder if in Star Wars The Last Jedi we'll see Luke learn the ancient Sith language, now that he's so obsessed with all things ancient and force user affiliated.
It would be cool to see Darth Vader speak this language in the movies...just imagine if we got a Star Wars Trailer of it someday for a new anthology film.
Perhaps Snoke speaks this language, and Kylo Ren learns it too...only time will tell...
