What do we do when the enemy’s voice makes sense, only to deceive?  When we endure suffering in our lives, the first thing the enemy convinces our flesh to do is question if God is indeed good. None of us want to experience disappointment, but these hardships can actually reveal some deep inner motives and expectations that we didn’t know existed within ourselves. Does your love for God have an ulterior motive? Are you serving God out of a desire to see Him meet your expectations? Suffering and disappointment will force you to answer this question, “How deep is your love?”
