Many people tell me Noah could never have fit all the animals onto the ark. But people who say this don’t understand two things. First, the ark was huge—much bigger than most people think. We’ve built a full-size ark and jaws often drop as visitors take in the massive size!

Second, Noah didn’t really have to take that many animals on board. He only needed to take two of every kind, not species. And he didn’t need the sea creatures. Noah probably only needed around one thousand or so animal kinds. That’s about a few thousand individuals in total. There was plenty of room on board the massive ark!
