Before founding Ownwell, Colton served as an investor, asset manager, and venture capitalist, helping manage billions of dollars across various asset classes. He was part of funds that made early investments in companies such as Uber, Spotify, Redfin, Snowflake, UiPath, Zuora, and Grab.
