took too long for H/H to figure it out
I'm glad I waited for this book to go on sale. It wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't all that great either.
Here is a sample taking out of the last chapter, that sums up the book. chapter 10 - "I think you're both so busy protecting yourselves you can't see what the best thing is. I just hope you find out before it's too late.
This was a sweet story, but I didn't connect with the hero, or heroine. They both seemed a little whinny to me. The story had very little passion, or romance. Sam, and Emelia had been hurt before. they were too scared of being hurt again to embrace what was right there for them to grab on too. The two finally woke up, and embraced the love, but it was a little too late for me.
She took too long!
I give three stars because it wasn't that bad of a story. It was very imaginative and it was actually a very sweet and tender story. The only problem I had with it was that the author wrote almost the entire story without any romance at all between these two characters. It is a romance novel! We expect romance. I like it that it wasn't like all the other stories where they jump into bed, she gets pregnant, he takes care of her, they sleep together and that's that. the problem with it was that the characters had known each other for a long time already and there was no advancing of the relationship at all, until after the book was more than halfway done.
It's Okay.
This series is bizarre to say the least. I had accidentally read the 2nd book in the series first, not knowing it was part of a series. So when I discovered the series I got the rest. The 2nd book in the series is so far, hands down, the best. The first book was so bad, I did in fact, get my money back! This one is not nearly as bad, in fact was a pleasant read, just barely. Still, it was pleasant....but odd. I think it is truly part of the language used as it is set in Great Britain, not bad language. It is just that we just don't think that way, here in the States. We are not all that proper and formal, I do believe that barriers of the difference between English and American can make it less appealing to the side having to interpret. If you don't believe there is a difference then you will not have a problem other than the storyline fell a bit flat.
The Baby swap Miracle
When she went in to find out about the mix up in her pregnancy she also found a man there. He had found out about a mix up also. You'll have to read it to find out just what happens. I hope you will find it as interesting as I did.
