Join Donna & Julianne in a discussion with the Cupps family about their beloved son and brother, Michael. Susan and Daniel talk about their experience loving Michael a young man who struggled with substance abuse and ultimately passed away of a heroin overdose. Daniel talks about how he and his brother started using drugs with their perspective friend groups and while Daniel stopped, Michael did not. Susan talks about Michael was like as a child and what it was like for her to watch her son struggle. Dave, Michael's father, a recovering addict as well, joins us shortly in to the conversation and shares what Michael was like the day he last spoke to him. We get in to how Daniel, Susan and Dave coped with their loss and how they continue to live life but remember Michael and share the ways they like to remember him.
