"When I hit 100K, I set out into the world, I'm gonna make 500K by the end of this year in sales. I'm going to do it. That was a fun goal for me. It was a goal that stretched me, it was a goal that scared the shit out of me. It was everything I wanted it to be. And then it wasn't, it turned into something else. It no longer became a big, fun goal."

 

This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we are going to talk about one of the more common underlying themes in our everyday lives --- language. Our discussion will help understand the effect your language has on your life and determine what language you should choose to use on a daily basis to continue to grow as a coach and just in general. 

 

Language can have a very powerful impact, that is why it is so important. We need to always be mindful of the language that we use, especially when you’re in the midst of trying to reach a certain goal or set of goals. The language that you use has the power to turn what was once a fun, big and beautiful goal into something so nasty and heavy.

You don’t need any added pressure when you’re already feeling restricted as is.  You have the power within you to lift that burden off of your shoulders just by changing your language.
