A judge ruled that Oscar winning actress Halle Berry will remain without primary custody of her 13-year-old son, Maceo. The judgement comes after a nearly two week hearing that included six hours of testimony by Maceo. The judge did, however dismiss Martinez’s request for a domestic violence restraining order against Berry after he accused her of physically abusing their son in September. Berry’s daughter, 18-year-old Nahla Aubry defended her mother, accusing Martinez of being on "quest to destroy my mom" and said she is "heartbroken" to see Maceo "become the subject of a public dispute that he may not fully understand."

Both children died in the fire, but there is an unlikely supporter of commuting Weisheit’s execution to life in prison: the children’s father.

Meantime, we’re learning more about Tennessee’s escaped prisoner, convicted murderer Jacob Morley, who authorities now believe could be connected with an armed bank robbery in Wisconsin. That would mean Morley may be armed with a weapon and an undisclosed amount of cash.
