Jesus calls us to be peacemakers, bringing about reconciliation between people. However, to bring peace, we must first have peace in our hearts. We are called to cooperate with the grace of God, allowing Him to guide us through different situations in our lives and to understand the motives behind our actions. May we be motivated by love for God and others, rather than operating with tunnel vision rooted in self-righteousness and selfishness.
