Much of the content of this podcast, and many others, is focused on getting you a shot opportunity on a whitetail deer. But once you've taken the shot, what now? There's good news and bad news here. The bad news is, once the shot is fired, you can't control anything about the flight of your chosen projectile, the reaction of the animal, or the quality of the hit. The good news is, after the shot is fired, there are a lot of things you can make sure to execute perfectly to give you the best odds of recovering your deer.
