What's it like reintroducing a large predator to the wild? One person with firsthand experience is Maria Davidson, who manages the large carnivore programme for Safari Club International. She comes from the Louisiana Department of Fish and Wildlife, which has an impressive track record reintroducing black bears – as long as we can hunt them.
