In a fallen world, disappointments are a painful part of life and people often poorly reflect our Creator. This is why we cannot put our hope in people or put unrealistic expectations on others to fill the deepest voids in our hearts. By inviting God’s love and care to fill those places within us we can move forward and process our disappointments with grace.
