In this episode of The Sister Circle Podcast, I share helpful ways to end friendships without burning bridges. You just never know how things come back around.

Do you have a gift that you feel compelled to share with the world? What do you do when the doors aren’t opening up the way you hoped they would?
I sat down with worship leader and artist Niya Cotton for the latest episode of The Sister Circle Podcast. She shares how she shows up in her gifting wherever God places her.
If you’re in a similar season, use this time to draw closer to God and serve others. Rest in knowing that He will give you the strength to endure until you get to where you want to be.

Have you taken the time to prepare for what you’ve prayed for?
When we submit our desires to God, we can become so focused on getting to our destination that we fail to live our lives well in the meantime. But there is so much life to be lived in the in-between season.
Travis Greene joins me on The Sister Circle Podcast to discuss his debut book, Are You Praying for the Wrong Thing?, and the transformation that takes place when we steward our current season well.
If you find yourself always aiming for more, I believe this conversation will shift your focus back in the right direction.

What a friend we have in Jesus. If I close my eyes, I can hear the melody of this hymn in my head. And while the lyrics ring true, there are times that I have to remind myself that Jesus is indeed my friend.
I was reminded of this when I sat down with Faith Eury Cho, an international speaker, pastor, author, and mom of four. Her new book, “Experiencing Friendship with God,” is a necessary resource for establishing intimacy with God.
Something transformational will happen when you let down your guard and let go of coming to God as a perfect person. Through a deeper connection with God, you will end up where He wants you to be.

When I reflect on my life, do you know what stands out? All of the small things I’ve done that led me to the big things God had in store for me.
I can trace this back to many experiences in my life.
These seemingly small efforts over time have led to a lasting legacy for my family. I’ve seen the decisions of my grandparents have an impact over generations. But the only way things continue for generations to come is if each individual in our family continues to make the next right small decision that leads to legacy.
The same can be true for you. When you commit to doing the small things well and consistently, you’ll pick up the momentum you need to transform your current situation. But more importantly, you will become the person you were meant to be.

What makes your home a home?
Is it the strategically placed picture frames full of family memories? The carefully curated decor following a theme you planned out yourself? Or is it the perfectly polished floors and countertops that lack any sign of life?
Oftentimes, we associate cluttered tables, stacked sinks, and noisy kitchens with chaos. But what if that didn’t have to be the case? What if the messy sights, belly-deep laughter, and scents wafting from room to room are signs of life being lived and memories being made?

What is keeping you from taking the leap in your life? If the thought of going after your dreams scares you, then it may just be time for a shift in your perspective.
My conversation with Bible teacher, speaker, and author Rachel G. Scott will encourage you to think of taking the leap in a way that puts your soul at ease. Her new book, “Taking the 5 Leaps,” is a guide for understanding the types of leaps you may find yourself taking and the power of partnering with God in the process.
As you build toward your goal, you must seek God for the patience, perseverance, and peace that only He can provide.

What words do you use to talk about your body? Are you more negative than positive when it comes to acknowledging what you see in the mirror?
All of us have at least one thing about our bodies we want to change. Try to focus less on what you want to change about yourself and instead highlight the good that you see.
It is my hope that you can learn to be kind to your body because it has been kind to you.

Have you ever looked at the limitations in your life as gifts from God? I know how difficult it can be to stay positive when you feel stretched thin by life’s demands.
In the latest episode of the Sister Circle Podcast, I sat down with my friend Sara Hagerty to talk about her insightful new book, “The Gift of Limitations,” and the importance of honoring your boundaries.
I understand all too well that the limits in your life can feel unfair. But when you are honest about your boundaries with yourself and others, you can begin to let go and surrender your plans to God.
