Before we can see a grassroots discipleship movement, we must embrace and understand the heart behind a minister of the gospel. For too long we have focused on trying to motivate and inspire people to righteous living, instead of helping them understand and experience the power of the gospel. The power of the gospel is that our hearts are made brand new. As we again examine the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul, we will extract some key characteristics of a faithful minister of Christ. Though we may feel as though these traits are missing in our own lives, all we have to do is have a willingness to walk in them and God will go to work! Once our hearts are aligned with the gospel, we will find that ministry is a great joy and not a burden!
