Today we are listening to part two on the pelvic floor, with one of my favorite people, professionals, and mothers. Dr. Mary Ellen Kramp, is a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor assessment and therapy. In this episode, we pick up where we left off last week to learn more about what normal versus abnormal pelvic floor function looks like after giving birth. She also explains why kegels are not a straightforward answer for incontinence (uncontrolled peeing and stooling) and how a pelvic floor physical therapist may be able to help.
