Lovely

I love the story and that it was a series. The author does a fantastic job telling a story.I highly recommend reading this book. This is a heartwarming story of Cam and Norah and how they get along. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

Great addition to the Wishful series

Wishful, Mississippi is home to the much loved Madrigal theater. Do to a bad economy and the theater in need of costly repairs, the doors to the Madrigal are about to close. An idea to hold one last musical to raise money to help save the theater brings the town together as well as Tyler Edison and Brody Jensen. Tyler & Brody were in love and planning their future when Brody suddenly left town. Now he's back co-staring in the musical with none other than Tyler.

I read the book and had an ARC to the audio book. I was curious to see if I would enjoy listening to one of Kait Nolan's books as much as I enjoyed reading them. I am SO glad I tried it! The audio did NOT disappoint! The narrator did a wonderful job of bring the characters to life. It was well done & great to listen to while driving or jogging. I can't wait for another of Kait's books to come out on audio!

Beautiful Tale of 2nd Chances!

I had the pleasure of first reading Be Careful Its My Heart by Kait Nolan and the even greater pleasure of listening to it read aloud to me when it was released on Audible. Like a number of Kates stories, this wonderful tale takes place in the quaint and cozy town of Wishful where folks actually know and still care about one another and find themselves rallying to save their beloved Madrigal Theater. What better way then to perform White Christmas as their last hurrah which ends up bringing long lost and abandoned loves Tyler Edison and Brody Jensen back together unexpectedly. The narrator does a wonderful job of bringing Kates characters to life and imbuing the sentimentality that Kate renders with each beloved character and the town of Wishful overall!

I read most of the MacKenzie series but none of the novellas and I wasnt lost at all. <3

Pop-Tart! I loved that nick name.

I loved this book. Its sweet innocents and how if you want something bad enough youre going to find a way to make it happen.

Ben is gruff but sweet and Echo is determined and cute.

They make one heck of a couple.

I LOVED the narration it was perfection! <3

Not my favorite crownover story

I really loved the marked men series and re listen to them often. The point series was mostly good too with a few exceptions. This story crosses boundaries with both of those series which was interesting. The storyline here was promising but insta Love isnt my favorite and this was that in spades. In addition the dialogue was so over the top dramatic it made the narration sound like overactors in a big way. The rest were things that are more preference than criticisms so Ill keep those to myself other than to say I dont understand how people think some of these things are sexy but to each their own. Overall it was ok but I wouldnt listen to it again

Loved this story of Benny and Echo. I have met both characters in the two different series of Jay Crownover ( saints if Denver and The point) . How a very BAD guy and ok girl found there way to happy ending.

Very disappointed

I have listened to every book in this series

and was so anxious for this one. What a disappointment! The story and writing are wonderful , just what I expected. The narration is awful, the voice of the narrator is so annoying. She should stay away from trying to do different voices.

I'm not fond of leaving negative comments, especially since I adore this series, but when Grace dictates her diary entries, she should not sound like she's in her 20s/30s. Also, the Cannonball Island people should not sound Scottish. The narrator changed the whole feel of the book.

I had to stop listening because I had no idea who was speaking. I've bought the entire series & loved it until this book. I will return because of the narriator

The voice of the narrator is not enjoyable to listen to. I couldn't even finish the book. To be fair, maybe if you started with this book, it might be okay; however, when you have the voices of the characters over 10 books established, switching just makes seem as though it isn't part of the series. Very disappointed.

I have several new ones in my library, so don't know. I drive about 2 1/2 a day, so I listen quite a bit.

What didnt you like about Joy Osmanskis performance?

Her voice is too on the edge of shrill for my taste.

Sexy romance with respect for women

Marcie financially supported her narcissistic self absorbed husband Trent, so that he could become an orthodontist only to get traded in for a newer model.

She was good enough to build his career, but not the he wanted on his arm for appearances.

Now she's raising her 7 year old daughter (basically alone) living in a small apartment with 2 other roommates and a broke down car struggling to make ends meet.

One night while bartending at a casino an opportunity to better her situation arises.

Marcie is offered a job by Andre, who's basically a dominant sexual surrogate.

Andre has a retreat for couples who need help with intimacy problems.

Marcie had no idea what kind of couples counselor he really was when she accepted the job.

This eventually makes for an interesting work day

Mike is Aundre's security guy.

It's his job to check out Marcie's background and go over the job description.

I like her writing style, so I will definitely keep this author in mind for future book's.

The BDSM is light like female worship senario's.

I personally like book's where the men are more concerned with giving the woman pleasure than getting theirs and thinking we should be with it.

Roberto Scarlato did a good job portraying the various character voices.

I especially liked the french accent for Andre.

The way he switches from each character is with a nice easy flow.

I enjoyed the book.. Great sex scenes & a delightful romance, combined with justified karma, biting oneself in the ass! It is lots of fun to watch good characters be rewarded and bad characters get their downfall--but being kept on tenterhooks waiting to see how!

I don't usually review books that I don't finish. This is an exception. I loved the idea of this book, this story, but I couldn't get through it.

I loved the introduction of Marcy. She was a single parent, struggling to raise her little one. Her ex was no help and Marcy did what she could. I was rooting for Marcy to win right out of the gate.

Fantastic, DC Cole is my favorite rock star I could listen to him all day.

All three narrators (Tracy & Josie) did a great job I really enjoyed this audiobook, had me LOL on more than one occasion. Love it when all the band mates are together, the conversations and scenarios they get in are hilarious.

Reckless Beat Novella

Everyone's back for Mitch and Alana's wedding, and the Vegas revelry is stellar! I love the bachelor/bachelorette scavenger hunt/dare fest. There's a lot packed into this shorter story: hilarious antics, earbud-melting heat, some seriousness and life drama and a set up for more wildly entertaining installments to come.

The narration is perfect for the series. DC Cole nails the male rock star personas and also does a good job with voicing the females. Josie Minor and Tracy Marks are total pros who handle all their characters beautifully as well. I NEED to know what's next for a couple of the characters and where the band goes from here. Can't wait for the next one.

Another great book...

This book is a great addition to the series. For a short(ish) book is sure packs in a lot of different things. At different points I cried in sadness, and at others I cried in happiness and at others I laughed out loud.

I love that Eden's books contain characters that I've grown to care about and that have left me emotionally involved.

The narration is well done, it switches between narrators as the POV changes and the narrators worked well together with the character voices from each working together.

Great listen!

I have listened to several books by Eden Summers, Josie Minor, Tracy Marks, & D.C. Cole, and all are very talented. I thought this book was exceptionally well done and the thought of using 3 narrators was perfect. This book is a standalone listen and continuation of the series. There are laugh out loud moments in this story, and one can visualize so much. Each narrator put so much into their performance -- you could feel so many emotions! I will definitely continue to listen to this series and more books by the author and narrators. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but my opinion of it. There is so much to the book beyond hot sex, humor, wedding stress, pranks, healing, that one just needs to listen and enjoy. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out on audio!

Devastatingly Beautiful & Real

I'm just blown away. I have been anxiously awaiting Chad and Laila's story ever since reading My Hope Next Door. My Unexpected Hope certainly did not disappoint. The reality of it shook me and carried me through such a range of emotions. At church this morning I heard of a 28 year old girl who had come to last Wednesday night's service and gone forward, then was found dead the next day from an overdose. This resonated with me. One of my own granddaughters lived through much of the same reality. Her life is now filled with light and she and her husband have two beautiful children and a living relationship with the Lord. Reading this book was so realistic and even painful -- seeing the terrible pain and torment that addiction causes, not only for the individual but for all those who dare to love them. And, ultimately, the freedom that is only found in HIM. This was an excruciating and beautiful love story.

Also as much as Cooper was a thorn in my side in Katie's story, I'm hoping that we may yet be reading his own story of love and redemption.

I also really enjoyed the dual narration. Great job!

Very real

A very real look at how addictions can affect all types of relationships. I found myself really rooting for Chad. Just a warning - this book will suck you in and you won't want to put it down!

I like when books have both a male and female narrator, I think it gives the book a better theatrical element.

Opposites Attract Romance!

I love a good Opposites Attract trope! When it's mixed with a fun Fish out of Water trope, I'm in like Flynn.

Put it in Scotland and add Joel Leslie's narration? I could (and did!) listen all day.

What's to know? Perry Goodwood, who's never been outside of London, is given an impossible assignment of getting the wayward brother of a celebrity family to leave his home on the isolated island of North Uist and return to London to participate in a reality series.

Only thing is Greg Ventura has no use for London or his brothers - who used to tease and torment him terribly. When Perry arrives it's without any of the normal support he'd have from his firm and he's alone and has to try to convince Greg to do the show.

Greg, who was always called out as the "the ugly duckling" of the family, has grown up to be the best looking of the bunch, but is still largely unaware of it. Perry, now stranded on North Uist, sets out to convince him otherwise, and in the process falls in love with both Greg and North Uist.

This is a really enjoyable story. It's got a great setting, a wonderful cast of characters, a dual perspective from both Perry and Greg's POV, and not a lot of angst...but what absolutely did it for me was the narration of the audiobook. I loved Joel Leslie's Scottish accents! And while I don't know how accurate they may be - it was a downright pleasure to listen to.

Romancing the Ugly Duckling is the second book in the Romancing the...series, and it's the 36th book in the Harlequin Books-esque Dreamspun Desires series, but can absolutely be read as a standalone.

This is a sweet fish out of water/ opposites attract romance with terrific narration. I had a lot of fun listening to this and hope you will too!

Not what I thought, but really good

I went into this thinking it would be a sweet "not so great looking guy meets gorgeous guy that looks past physical looks to the person inside." It was not quite that. This is a story of one man not having confidence in his looks because of family stuff and another that is very confident in his looks, but still insecure. Perry is sent to a small island off the coast of Scotland to try and convince one of five brothers (Greg) to return to London to star with his other four brothers in a reality show.

How have so many people given this 5 stars???!

I'm not sure if I'm reading the same book as the other 118 people who reviewed it. While I think the story could be good, the writing seems juvenile and disjointed. I seriously think the author used a thesaurus to find new words to sound "smart." Well, it doesn't work...it just makes it harder to read. Plus, I don't think any editing was done whatsoever, even though Unforeseen Editing is credited. If the author paid for their services, she should get her money back, I don't think they actually did anything.

**Spoilers - mainly for illustrative purposes**

pg 101 - "My heart was crushed when I saw her snake her tongue into his mouth, but even worse was witnessing him welcome it with his hot and horny pubescent one."

Pg 101 - "Unfortunately, when I attempted to jolt a full-blown make-out session, Parker wasn't interested."

pg 97 - "Pushing my jeans down, his touch was so ginger and caring."

pg 80 - "Now, hurry because I can't wait for your a** to be bare for my taking. A huge echo of laughter pores out of him, only spurring my own giggling."

These are just a few examples...the entire book is filled with similarly awkward wording. How so many people gave this book 5 stars is completely beyond my comprehension. The book has potential, but until it is edited substantially, I won't be finishing it. And I will no longer be taking Amazon's recommendations for books I may like. There have been too many duds like this.

Cute story, great book cover

This book has a great cover..I consider this a lite read in romance. The story is about twins Piper and Brad and his best friend Tanner who attends the same college and they all swim for the school as well..There is a secret love connection between Piper and Tanner but because of Brad these two cannot show itâTanner is really good though as he's supports Piper with swimming and wants their relationship to be more openâabout the time when they were going to come clean about their relationship it was put to the test and he has to leave. A few years later Brad is getting married ( but not to his dream girl who we meet briefly in the beginning of the story) and these three are forced together , Piper now has a beau and the story unfolds..Tanner feelings are even more intense for Piper..go Tanner get your girl..

Great Story

I have to admit I didn't think I would like this book. As a matter of fact the two main characters at times annoyed me. Whether it was something they said or something they did. But as the story went on I begin to enjoy it. I begin to understand the main characters Jack and Heather. They are both young people who are learning to be adults. Heather plans her future, Jack goes with the flow. The story is an easy read but at the same time has some meaning to it. I have to admit, the story was good I really enjoyed it I think anyone who reads it will enjoy it. Just remember it's just a story, but love can come to anyone at any time and at any age.

not the best romantic story

the reader was amazing. makes you feel youre in the story. the book is too long and gets boring. beautiful story but you need to wait about 3 chapters will it get interesting again.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would not recommend this book. I wanted to like it, and I am really not that hard to please. I usually don't have high expectations but this book was anticlimactic in too many ways. I felt like I was being strung along and continued to wait for some turn of events that would finally grab my interest or pull me in. It was very uninspired and honestly just some recycled storyline of too many other books.

Her performance was excellent, it was the storyline and content of the book that was uninspired.

Wow!!! This book is so amazing! I loved it!

This book is so well written and captivating! The characters are well developed and there are so many lovable characters. I enjoyed every minute of it! It was hard to put down. It became a little problem when it was 4 am and I still wanted to keep going. I did take a little break but was right back on it as soon as I woke up. Outstanding book. I wish there were more books like this one.

The narrator did an amazing job bringing the story to life. I felt immersed in the story and all characters came to life.

Olivia is such a wonderful character. Everyone loves her and even though life threw her a curve ball, she was able to find real love and learn that she was missing out on a lot with her uncaring husband.

I fell in love with Ash's sweet and attentive nature. He was beyond perfect for Olivia. And as the story progressed their romance blossomed into something very special.

There is a sweet HEA. No cliffhangers!

I'm looking forward to reading more books by this talented author!

It ranks very high up as I also once upon a time read the book. But the audible just brought the story to life for me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Out of the Box Awakening?

When Olivia gets the call from Todd that his grammy has passed.

Which character as performed by Triera Holley was your favorite?

I would have to say Olivia. Although she played each character very well but she was wonderful with Olivia' character

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There were various parts that had me laughing out loud. And some parts that made me want to whoop Olivia's ex husbands tush.

Fantastic Audible book !!!

Amazing

Wow...what an amazing book! This is the first book I have read by this author and it definitely won't be my last. This book will hook you from page 1. I couldn't put it down. The narrator was perfect for this. I just can't give this enough stars.
