good book!

This was a sweet story that I enjoyed from start to finish. I like the character, Matt and Mira as they had chemistry and real issues that they did well working through. The plot moved along and was kept me interested. I enjoyed the emphasis and importance of family for both of the characters. I can also see some future stories in some of the sub characters. I would recommend this book to others. The narration of this book by Mr. Harrison was performed well keeping me interested in the story from the start.

Oh, the heat, the passion, and the love

BJ Harrison you are amazing. Your voice portrays these characters exactly as I expected them to be. You take characters that have feelings and brought them to life for me.

Melissa Foster. Oh what you do to me. The heat, the passion, and the love are always amazing in your books. Seaside Whispers is no exception. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE all that what I really enjoy is the friendships. The Seaside Girls are absolutely the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I love how the open their club to other girls as they become part of the friendship circle. Of course there was chunky dipping, helping Mira achieve her goals, and support with every aspect of life.

The relationship between Matt and Mira was sweet. Theyve been flirting through text and occasional visits for over a year and when he decides to take a sabbatical for 3 months their relationship takes off. Matt didnt just have a relationship with Mira he had a relationship with Mira and Hagen, Miras 6 year old son. The way he accept and included Hagen in all they did warmed my heart. I could understand how Mira was anxious about just letting Matt into their life when his plans were to leave again. Hagen and Mira both fell in love with Matt and him leaving would shatter them.

I loved the ending. Theresa is hilarious. Bella, one of the Seaside Girls, has pranked Theresa each season and Theresa gets the last word this season. I laughed so hard as tears fell because the moment was just so sweet and wonderful.

Happy Endings

I really like how Anna Todd continued this series with giving Landon his story to tell and talk about emotionally on a roller coaster ââââââ I would of liked Hardin and Tessa to have had their happy ending ââââ so does the saga continue ?

Great Book

Huge fan of Anna Todd After Series!!! so happy and excited that her After series continues as Tessa and Hardin story ends a new one begins!!!! 5 stars!!!!

Boring

I wanted so much more for these books! I really liked Landon in her other series! I felt like his story was rushed, generic and boring. I was disappointed because I loved Tessa and Hardin's story; It was raw, real and different.

Missing Hardin!

I was disappointed with the storyline. Compared to the first books in the series that featured Hardin, this was a very boring read.

Broken

Lily Swan does a great job narrating this book. But I didn't like this book. I kept waiting and waiting for Blake and Jewel to get past their annoyingly bitter or overly sweet outbursts. I bought this book for $13.95. I'm glad I didn't use my credit ! These books should of been combined into one book. But at least it doesn't end with a cliffhanger like book one. I won't be getting book 3 in this series bc this book has made me not care. M.A. could have gone several different ways with this book and didn't. But this is my opinion.

Narrator drops "t's" - unfortunately in words like Payton one of the characters, which sounds like "Pay-un" and eaten, "ea-un"etc. She doesn't do it with all words, but often enough to make me grind my teeth.

Definitely one of my favorites

I love this book in the series. Each book can be read individually but the series read together in any order makes such a vivid and wonderful world come to life. Erik Schubach is definitely one of my favorite authors. I wasn't sure I could like this book any better than I did when I read it but the narration is just as fantastic as the story. Hollie Jackson does a fabulous job narrating every book with naration in this series so far.

I have read this book and was glad to see it on audible and just had to listen to it. The book is good but I love Hollie Jackson she makes all books better .

Sometimes There is A Happy Ending

OMG this may be my favorite audiobook.

I listened to this the day after The Old Man purchased it and I couldn't wait to listen to it with him. Stacy's Dad (his other name) may be bigger than most NFL lineman but he's as likely to cry at something sentimental as a teenage girl; it is so much fun to watch him try, and fail, to keep from crying, then to try and hide it from everyone. Well sure enough this one had us all in tears, as Erik Schubach works usually do. However it's set apart from the rest of the books in this series because it has none of the warts or moles the others have.

The first literary aperture the author avoids is in the idealization of the Penny Franklin character. Penny, after leading a charmed life for 20 years, more or less is hit with large amounts of misfortune in all areas of her life. These are the type of challenges that we all face at some point in our lives (okay perhaps not to the same extent). Penny's reaction is to "be all selfish" and throw herself off a bridge;.lucky for us all Sandra happens to be strolling across the bridge at just the right time and convinces Penny to give life and her a chance. Penny's initial reaction to Sandra's natural optimism is "oh I'll break Little Miss Suzy Sunshine here; I'll show her the real world, it will be good for her to know the true nature of life". As a reminder, Sandra spends most of her time helping the homeless and children (many of them terminal) who are on the burn and cancer wards in the local hospitals. I'll bet people like that are quite familiar the side of life Penny thinks she can show San. There was certainly quite a juxtaposition between Penny's self pitying attitude and that of the children she dealt with in the hospital. Think in particular of Yvette and the way in which she approaches a life that has included far more pain and far less positive experiences than Penny's. There came a time when her negativity about her life did become a bit tiresome. Add to that Penny 's belief that she was a control freak after stating that her record company and her husband were controlling her. Adding further to this was her comment relating that said husband never 'allowed' her to get their daughters a dog.

Loved it up until...

I loved this book all the way up until the last 30 minutes. It ended rather quickly. Was hoping for something a little more at the end, but over all it's a great read.

Perfect Ending

I was super stoked when I saw that L.D. Davis Worth the Fight was finally available in audio form, Worth the Fight is the final audiobook in the Accidentally On Purpose trilogy, and the first audiobook AOP was released 3 years ago. Worth the Fight is Luke Kesslers story and would I highly suggest you listen the AOP before listening to this book

Lukes story starts off with my favorite passage from AOP, when a desolate Luke confronts girlfriend Emmy Grayne over her affair with boss Kyle Sterling, its the most heartbreaking part of their story and hearing it told from Lukes POV loses none of its intensity.

We learn what Lukes been up to since the breakup and before Emmy comes to town and drops a bombshell on is life. This is an emotional listen as Luke and Emmy try to rebuild basic trust and then rebuild their relationship, but its not easy because even though a year has passed Luke is still very hurt and Emma has come back into Luke's life a completely broken woman, the harsh words Luke spoke to Emmy when they parted end up coming to fruition in the most painful of way. Realizing just how deeply wounded and depressed Emmy is, Luke comes to the realization that for both their sakes he must help to heal Emmy's heart.

I loved this story and it's a satisfying completion to the AOP series. Joe Arden narrates and he did an awesome job voicing the characters and I found his delivery completely engaging, this audiobook clocks in at almost 11 hours and it went by way too fast, I never wanted to put the story on pause, its that entertaining.

GREAT SERIES!!!

I don't know why I let so much time pass between reading books 2 and 3, but it was as if I'd never left. And that means strong, interesting characters, which meant Cash's story grabbed my brain and would not let go until I cried my way through the resolution at 2 AM and bought book 4 before I went to sleep.

Read the Bend or Break series. You're welcome.

Get over it and read this book!

This was sooo good... I was hesitant to read at first because of the female content - I really like my romance MM or MMM... but MF and some MFM was in this one... However, it is about Cash from the first book Off Campus and Steph who was Reese's friend - and I loved them in Off Campus and I was told the themes being dealt with were around the LGBTQ community - and diversity as a whole. And that was true. It's about these two falling in love but also about his gay cousin coming out and under privileged schools and differences in race and dealing with all of that. It's a deep book disguised as a fun romance... I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Even without the main characters being MM - it was a Fabulous book - very well written, very well thought out, and very entertaining... and there are a few Tom/Reese scenes - I love those guys!!!

Another Fantastic Book From Amy Jo!

Amy Jo Cousins never disappoints me. Every single book she writes takes me on a fun, hot, and heartfelt ride that I never knew I needed and The Girl Next Door did just that. We finally got a book about Cash and what I loved most about it was not only Cashâs charm, wit, and huge heart but the way in which Amy Jo was able to mature him and show us the same Cash we fell in love with but even better. Steph was a fabulous heroine. She is intelligent, strong, and fiery which are my favorite things to have in a women Iâm reading. The chemistry between Cash and Steph is magnetic and I could have jumped directly into my Kindle and wrapped myself up in them. The plot featuring Denny was so heartwarming and gave the book the humanity that I know will always come with an Amy Jo Cousins book.

First book I have listened to by this author but it won't be the last. I really liked the enemies to lovers storyline. The hero Graham dislikes Blake from the instant he meets her even the she has done nothing wrong. Unfortunately for him they keep running into each other and eventually the brooding Graham will have to face his feelings. While this is a spin off from Montgomery Ink series it can be read/listened to as a standalone. Overall it was a quick and fun listen and Gregory Salinas did a great job with this dual POV story.

Outstanding love story

This book is awesome well written and very imaginative. Carrie Ann Ryan is becoming one of my favorite authors. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story.

Enemies to Lovers Blake and Graham

I enjoyed this story and it was a really good beginning to a new series. This story featured one of my favorite tropes: Enemies to Friends. And this one didnt disappoint as we got the classic push and pull distinctive of love-hate relationships.

Blake Brennen has grown up from that silver spoon heiress that many people remembered. She has returned home a mature woman who knows the value of hard work. When she hires the Gallagher Brothers to restore her new home, Blake immediately clashes with Graham Gallagher.

His first impression of her is that of a pampered princess born with a silver spoon and he couldnt stand her. Of course his body got a different memo. Despite the attraction, Graham treated Blake quite crudely. They spent a lot of time verbally sparring but it was clear that both Blake and Grahams fighting was fueled by their past hurts and baggage.

Slowly, they begin to see beyond the surface and the secrets final come to life. In the end, Blake and Graham realize how much they misjudged each other and the individual healing began.

It took a while to connect with both character for different reasons, but I felt empathetic to their pain. At first glance, it appears that the author Carrie Ann Ryan wrote simple characters and plots. But as the story evolves, the reader sees just how complex and intricate the individuals truly were.

The pace was very even, and the chemistry was scorching hot.

What about Lili Valentes performance did you like?

Lili your performance blew me away WOW. I really enjoyed the story and the characters, so easy to like them all. The fact that you wrote and narrated this made it so much easier as a listener to feel for these characters and get pulled into story.

Loved Colton and Olivia

I love Lili Valente books and hearing them come to life is the icing on the cake. I feel like I am part of there world. The story line between Olivia and Colton was very well written. I can't wait to hear more audio books from this amazing and talented author is just keeps you so hooked and entertained you will not want to do anything else.
