Fantastic mob story!! Stellar narration!

Chris and Molly are an unlikely couple. Both grew up as neighbors with very little interaction. The difference in their upbringing is night and day. Her father was a respected physician .... his father a mobster from Boston's South Side. Life takes them down different paths .... he follows in the family gang, she becomes a teacher. When she finds him wounded and near death fate brings them together and you find yourself wrapped up in their story. This book has everything .... action, violence, love, sex ... So credit worthy and the performance is amazing. Five big stars!!

Stay for More

Dare to Stay is the second book in McLaughlin's dark suspense series. Filled with intrigue and delicious sexiness, the story focuses on Chris, a secondary character from book one and Molly, a new character. Opposites attract is the theme here with a sweet Molly and Chris the criminal. Tender moments between the main characters is interspersed with guns and gang fighting - the balance is just right and made for a satisfying read.

Narrators presented the heavy accents well and delivered an entertaining experience. I can't wait to move on to book three next and see where this is going next. The overall ARC is addictive and I have to know what happens!

Deliciously taboo!

We all have that one friend we have been curious about. You find your self curious about how they look naked. How good of a lover they are? How does their face look when they explode with anticipation? But this is far too intimate. We never tell the person our thoughts. No, that is much too taboo. Or is it?

Great Story

I really liked the story and would've given this a five star if I didn't get so annoyed everytime this girl talk. I mean, really, it's like she's crying throughout the book. It's so irritating. Otherwise, Jason Clarke did a wonderful job at narrating and the story was wonderful.

I wasn't really a fan of the narrator. Her voice seemed whiny at times especially while performing male parts. Certain enunciations seemed above par, but others could be deemed as downright annoying.

What made the experience of listening to To Love a Wolf the most enjoyable?

The character of Cooper has been one of my favorite in the entire series (which I have and have read or listened to all) For him to be the one in love instead of giving advice of the inexperienced was great.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved their relationship. It began with instant awareness even before the bank experience. They were the best pair ever.

What about Abby Cradens performance did you like?

Great job giving each a voice and personality.

Loved when Cooper told his buddy when he falls in love "don't talk" just don't. True and great advice. The breakup was difficult and the really bad injuries broke my heart.

This was a hot, but mature relationship of love and a couple who really care. I loved it. The problems were tough, but so is love. A great read or listen and I strongly recommend. If you are a Paige Tyler fan, you will be even more so after reading. If you weren't when you begin, you will be after completing it.

I love all the SWAT men in this series... And they are good men... great even. The stories are fun! Action packed, full on romance, steamy smexy scenes, good back stories for characters, good drama/action and a full of fun story line. I enjo6y these stories. But they aren't in depth kristen ashley stories. Lol... But really good just the same. the narrator Abby Craden did amazing! No frog voice like some reviewer said. She was perfect! And perfect for this series. give it a try, it's totally worth it! if you like action/drama/mystery/some comedy/ sexy sexy time/ suspense and a HEA... this is perfect for you

Narrator isn't good for this series

I am not sure how much longer I can hang onto this series. The narrator sounds like a sex phone operator half of the time. It's a boring ganging sound. I seriously can't stand how she makes the female voices speak. I was speeding ahead through this book because of it. I hope the author picks a different one next time. Someone like Sebastion York.

As far as this story goes, it's a good plot and the characters are likable.

Outstanding follow up to Reign

If you enjoyed the first book?? this one is a must that won't disappoint!

In this one we finally get the HEA ending that seems impossible.

Yeah there's plenty of speed bumps and WTF? moments as well.

And of course the sexy time's are on fire .

The narration in this one was just as good as the first book.

This series was well worth the 2 credits it cost me.

Because this book picks up right where Reign left off they must be read in order.

I highly recommend this series for anyone searching for a raw gritty biker romance.

Intimately Sexy

Narration, Charlee Prescott - Pretty Good. There's a lot of characters that make minor appearances and three main characters that dominate the book. Easy to differentiate characters, really gets into the sex scenes LOL!

So, First, this is a BDSM book, so if that's not your thing? Welp, then nothing to see here...move right along...

Kristin dumps her wanker of a boyfriend and ends up telling one of her best friends about their lackluster sex life. Turns out, he's a Dom and when she tells him she'd like a little more kink in her life, he suggests that if she's willing, he'd take her under his wing and show her the ropes. (wink, wink)

Meanwhile, across the alley, in a window near you, is her neighbor Matt, who accidentally saw Kris in her altogether one day and now secretly (or maybe not so secretly) watches her from his dark apartment, when she's doing uh...fun things. Matt happens to also be one of her best friends and they run together and play poker once a week and begin a friends with benefits vanilla kinda arrangement. A very HOT vanilla kinda arrangement.

This book is really sort of a lesson in BDSM. Scott is teaching Kristin and because of a bad experience in his past, he takes it slow. He's so caring and sexy, honestly, he sounds like the perfect Dom for a newbie. Any-who, I'm not gonna lie, this is a book with a lotta sex and it ticks off a laundry list of BDSM activities: Blindfolding, light bondage, orgasm denial, exhibitionism, voyeurism, switching, threesomes, (OMG Byron! Yes, please) flogging, anal, wax play, ice play, uhm... close enough. Oh, and Scott is Polyamorous!

At the heart of it though is the friendship she has with both of these guys. They've both pretty much had the hots for Kristin since before she got with Alex (The wanker) and when the intimacy builds, it ultimately leads to some rough decisions when the sex for fun becomes a little more than just sex.

I loved how the intimacy between both couples developed - and their honesty and communication. I think more than just a lot of hot sex, this book really shows how intimate the relationship is between a Dom and their submissive.

I enjoyed this one!

Not really a story line...

If you want a book full of sex.... this is your book. There really isn't a story line. It's about just what the summary says it is. Doesn't give any background on the characters, it is basically just sex. It was hot sex with BDSM so if you aren't into that then don't listen. The narrator was not the one for the job but she wasn't the worst I have heard. Would I recommend, no.

Huge let down!!

I am such a Bella Jewel fan I knew it had to get better at some point.....WRONG. The lead woman was such a whiney wimpy bitch, the narration was awful. I honestly think someone else wrote this book, save your credits for other Bella Jewel books.

Great story

This is an erotic, romance, love story with drama and action.

Jax Shields is a billionaire that made his own way in life. He's a take no prisoners and gets what he wants. He doesn't have to be nice about it, that is not what he is known for. For excitement? Well just about anything from SE Smith or Laurann Dohner. Both of these authors I can read their books over and over and over again.

Continual story of the mystery of bitten point.

This story gets the reader closer to who is behind the weird experiments on shifters and the disappearances of towns people. And love is found between the two shifter pairs.. worth a credit & purchases.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I really wanted to like this story. I loved the concept plus I like the series. But there were so many things that didn't add up. It's hard to discuss those issues without giving away the plot as well as the ending.

However, I LOVED Princess...LOL

I'll continue to with this series, but sincerely hoping the next one is better.

Would you be willing to try another book from Eve Langlais? Why or why not?

Yes. I love Eve Langlais's books and just because I didn't care for this one, it will not stop me from purchasing others. She is extremely talented.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator made Constantine sound like a mentally challenged Redneck. Although she was great with any female voice, she didn't have what it takes for male voices. There was absolutely nothing sexy about Constantine's voice.

Amazingly Beautiful!!!

I love how caring and sensitive Johnny is. Another incredibly well written book that was a complete experience made even better by Kai and Wen!!! After reading book one I didn't thinknit could get and better and then it did! I can't wait to tell all my friends about this amazing book and if you haven't read any of Michelle Mankin's books please do you are in for a treat!!!

I love how sensitive and caring Johnny is, yet strong and demanding without being too overpowering. I loved how he builds up Anna's self confidence.

Which character as performed by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross was your favorite?

My favorites were Johnny and Anna of course. They're chemistry was undeniable from the start.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were many moments that stayed with me. My heart swelled from the love Johnny and Anna felt for each other, and there were also times where my heart just broke for them.

Any additional comments?

I was waiting for this series to be released on to audio, which felt like forever and boy was I not disappointed. Michelle Mankin is one of my "go to" authors so loving the story would be a given, but I didn't anticipate it becoming one of my favorite books ever. This also has become my favorite performance from Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross.

Stunning second installment

Kai and Wen gave another stunning performance. I love how you got the under current of emotions between Annabelle and Charles. I even love that there is a surprise leading up to the reveal, but it isn't just 100% obvious. This series is so smooth and feels like just 1 book, but the cliffhangers it leaves you at are so evil that they leave you begging for the next part. I even love how they point out family is a huge deal and that it keeps pushing more towards happiness being a close runner up in life priorities.

Loving me some Johnny Lightning!!!!

This book is incredibly well written and I adore the characters and how you could feel the emotions that they were feeling as things played out! I loved Johnny and I am desperate to find out what's gonna happen next! If you haven't read this book or any of Michelle Mankin's books stop what you're doing and read them now!!! GOOD.... BUT I WISH IT HAD BEEN A COMPLETE BOOK

Firstly, I'm going to give this review for the entire Finding Me Trilogy. Now I don't really like short stories but this little series of listens had three things that tempted me - it's Author, the narrators and the half price sale - so I bought them knowing that the romance was going to be quick. And yes, as soon as a disillusioned 40 yr old Annabelle met Johnny - the grumpy handsome bearded much younger stranger who was meant to be taking her to her friend's empty beachside apartment, Annabelle was attracted to him but he was rude, judgemental and opinionated about her so she curbed her attraction. She'd had a disastrous marriage which left her with zero confidence, they'd been separated for a year and she was there to think things through, mull over possibilities and determined what course her, and her son's, lives should take..... but nothing could have prepared her for the soul deep connection, passion and love that she found in Johnny's arms.

However, she's married to a cheating, manipulative music Mogul and has two teenage sons which are her life so things aren't going to run smoothly.... and Johnny is keeping back something from Annabelle too. Unfortunately their luxurious stolen days and nights came screeching to a halt when her husband came to retrieve and reclaim his wife.... and rekindle their marriage. Which led to shattered dreams, broken hearts, emotional turmoil and a shocking unplanned discovery....
