Finally Adam!!!

I have been waiting a long time for Adam's story. I am so pleased with the way it plays out. It's a perfect opposites attract romance. Landry is an awesomely awkward tech geek while Adam is a musical genius. one is shy with a hidden confidence, while the other is often thought to be arrogant while being guarded. Together, it works.

Great character development. love the back story built up for each band member and supporting characters, just the right amount of detail to enhance the story but not take it over.

The narrators were definitely chosen well. I've listened to both separately and in this book, they come together with a powerful dynamic.

I want a man with a slow hand...

I liked the ebook so much that I bought the audiobook for a different experience.

Fully fleshed out, charged, erotic love story written with a sure touch. I have a new author to glom! Ivan is the man The Pointer Sisters were wishing for when they sang "Slow Hand."

I'm halfway through devouring the second book and will probably get that audio as well. While writing this review I upped my rating to 5 stars.

A Sweet Read!

Sugar is the perfect romance for those of us who just want the STORY. If you're here for a missive on man's struggle against geopolitics, or an account of one woman's tale of smashing the patriarchy, or 50 shades of anything - keep going. This ain't that book. This is a beautiful story about PEOPLE. REAL PEOPLE and their struggles in the world. Their struggles in work, in life, and of course in love. I found myself getting into my car each morning for my hour commute waiting to find out what my "friends" were up to. It honestly felt like I was connecting with people I knew and cared about. It did not feel like I was peeping in on characters in a movie the way it can with other audiobooks I've read. I truly felt like I knew these people and that I was simply catching up on their lives. Don't get me wrong - there were plenty of times I sat in my car, in the parking lot at work, ready to yell at someone (usually one character in particular) - this will definitely draw you in!

Kimberly Stuart clearly has a gift of storytelling. True storytelling - the kind that draws you in and makes you feel at home. Makes you feel like you're welcome in her world that has been created - not like you're spying on it. And that is a gift. You'll run the gamut of emotions that any good romance puts you through - but that's just what we want, and expect. That's why we're here.

The actor voicing the characters did an amazing job. All the voices were distinct without being overbearing. The words were well acted without seeming "put on". I will say that a few times Kai's voice was so low and soft that I couldn't hear what was said - I had to rewind and crank my volume a bit. But that's a nitpick. And if you're listening in headphones and not on the interstate it won't be an issue.

Love Echo and Cole!

Finally Echo gets her story. As the only girl in the Coulter family she is relied upon to help at home, at work, and anywhere else that may be needed. As a Coulter she is expected to be the best in her sport despite what she may want. Echo finally finds her voice in this book and uses it to express what she wants out of life even if it doesn't line up with the family expectations. Along the way she also finds a love interest in her coach.

I also like how the other family members are weaved throughout the story.

The narrators did a fantastic job giving a voice to Echo and Cole. Both Traci and Sebastian have the wonderful ability to express any voice during their respective narrated parts. I could listen to both of them all day long reading anything!

Same storyline

Whats up with all the stories in this series having the girl be virgins or inexperienced? I would love to have this story have Echo be a strong confident female who had experience and knows what she likes. Come to think of it a lot of Nanas female characters seem to be a little weak and or I experience and need the male character to save them

WONDERFUL BOOK and SERIES

I LOVED this BOOK and SERIES. I have been waiting for BOOK 3 to come out on audible since I listened to book 1 months ago and I have not been disappointed. hopefully there will be more books by l m Carr. The world needs more love stories. LOVED Adam and Mia! It had lots of suspense that kept me glued to the book and oh those swoon parts!!! with over 200 books in my library, Tracy Marks is one of my favorite narrators. I LOVE every BOOK she reads! However, I am sorry to say, that I didn't like Thomas Donohoe at all. he just sounded old and tired, not like a strong and vivacious 30 yr old. I wish Tracy would have narrated the entire BOOK, like she did BOOK 1. I will be listening to this series again. I look forward to falling into the world of Mia, Adam and family again!

One of the best trilogies I've read!!

The one word that comes to my mind after reading this is "WOW"!!! The whole series is an amazing experience you must read! In "Giving All to You", all the questions you had are answered to the utmost degree. You will be blown away, not just by the answers revealed, but with the book itself! Adam and Mia's journey is incredible, one of a kind, and will twist you all up inside! I can't say enough good things about this book and the series, it is just a ride you must take! In this 3rd installment, you will be on the edge of your seat, flipping pages like crazy, and staying up all night to find out what happens! Mia is one of the strongest female characters I have ever met and Adam!... Oh my, Adam will take your breath away and you will fall in love!!! There are many other amazing characters in this series that will capture you too! Congratulations to L.M. Carr on her first phenomenal series and I can't wait to read more from her!!!

My Thoughts on Giving All to You

This review is difficult for me to write. I loved the previous books in the series. And while there was a lot I liked in this one as well, there was also some things I struggled with.

I liked the overall story line and that the author continued to provide twists and turns that kept things moving and interesting. But I didn't always like the main characters. Sometimes I felt really bad for Adam because I could tell how sorry he was and it seemed harsh and sometimes unnecessary for everything to be thrown back in his face so many times. Then again, I was able somewhat see where Mia was coming from.

I liked how protective and loving Adam was towards his family, but he ran hot and cold a bit too much. It was things like that which kept me from truly loving this book the way I did the previous stories.

Love those boys from Molly Riot

I listened and reviewed the other books separtely so this will mostly be about Dan and Mark.

Dan's Story

I really liked Dan. He is probably the most laid back go with the flow member of the group. I really liked him and Sophie together too. The conflict of the story was how can Dan get the girl that his friend Mark likes... grrr. Sophie made me so mad with this one. I thought Dan's reaction was very realistic and I understand why he felt the way he did. Even though Mark was acting very childish about it, I kind of understand where he was coming from. What Sophie did was not cool but I like that she tried to smooth things over on her own without Dan's help. Dan and Sophie really were great for each other. 3.5 stars

Mark's Story

After how Mark acted in Dan's book I was glad to get his side of the story. At this point he is the lone single dude in Molly Riot. After playing at a festival with another band, Mark kind of gets his mojo back and meets Allie who is a photographer at the event. They get really close really quick and fellow band made Alex just knows Allie is up to no good. I loved Mark and Allie. I was so happy Mark found someone for him. Allie was really great too. Ohh the conflict of the story. I really liked that and I loved the resolution.

Swoon-worthy!

What did you love best about That Man of Mine?

I enjoyed every single minute of this story! I love the small town atmosphere, the history of Mimi and Zeke's relationship throughout their 18 year marriage and the love they have for each other and their family. I thought the 9-1-1 call had a great ending too!

What did you like best about this story?

I really love the way the author highlights Maggie's relationships with her children, her husband, her mother and sister in law and the fact that she is a extremely intelligent and highly capable woman who also happens to be the mayor of her small town. I enjoy strong woman with vulnerabilities.

Which scene was your favorite?

The 9-1-1 call is definitely my favorite scene! It highlights the frustration of life in a small town but it also celebrates the loving community feeling that demonstrates why small town romance is such a popular genre in romance right now. This book engaged all of my emotions.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Come to Whispering Bay where everybody knows your history and celebrates that history with you, whether you want them to, or not.

I love this collaboration of author and narrator and I can't wait to meet more of the citizens in Whispering Bay. I wish I could live there too!

A picturesque romance.

What made the experience of listening to That Man of Mine the most enjoyable?

Having read the print copy, I knew the power of words Maria Geraci possesses, but Carly Robins took a brought the words to life by painting a picture and added emotion to back it up.

What was one of the most memorable moments of That Man of Mine?

Second chances are hard to come by and this couple earned theirs. My favorite moment was when the walls came down and they gave into their emotions.

I always look forward to hearing a narrator's portrayal of the opposite sex.

Make Up Your Damn Mind

This was an interesting romance but it was hard to like Rowan. I just couldn't figure out what was so hard about falling for a handsome hero with a heart of gold. It's a good story but it took too long to show the chemistry between these two. I just didn't feel it for most of the story. While I did like this story well enough, so far it's my least favorite.

Again, these narrators did a good job. Matthew Holland nailed that New Jersey accent for Flynn. Charlotte North also did a decent job but sometimes Rowan had a southern accent (since she's from Texas) and sometimes she didn't. But all in all, it was a good listen.

It is worth the credit, but then again I seem to like all the audio books by Sawyer Bennett. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

it was heartbreaking, yet super sweet

so I totally fell in love with Flynn, he was so sweet. Rowan thought she was broken and she almost lost everything because of it. but Flynn showed her what an amazing woman she was by being her friend. it was a great love story, with great narrators. loved the epilogue, would love to hear more about the characters sometimes. I need to know if Ever and Linc have a baby....ugh I loved these characters! great series!!

my husband usually catches bits and pieces of the audibles i listen to, and Flynn had him cracking up whenever he over heard bits and pieces. loved it. great job all around.

Angst! Trust! Sex!

I had only a couple strong problems with this story. Spoilers are going to happen here due to the nature of the story weakness and I'm not sure I recall anyone else wondering WHO SET THE FIRE? And why did she only have one nightmare about it? And, the whole chained to a bed thing. The police dropped it way too fast. No detectives, just the narcotics guys? The framework of the story was way too weak.

Now for the other subtle differences.

I'm pleased the author has toned down her descriptions of male anatomical sizes. Pleasure is pleasure. If every single male isn't hung like a stallion, it's ok. We get it. This is the real world. I'm glad this issue wasn't an issue in this book.
