There's a push to integrate financial literacy into Australian schools, with recent data showing 52 per cent of Australian women and 37 per cent of men don't understand basic financial literacy concepts. 

Things like interest rates, inflation and investments aren't common knowledge, and that can have dire consequences for your wallet.
